🚨🚨🚨Federal immigration agents are still using our state DOL data to find and detain people. Take 2 minutes right now and call Governor Ferguson to demand that he immediately block this data sharing. Then send to 5 friends and ask them to call too. 👉360-902-4111👈
Graphic yellow poster with accents in red and black. Text reads:

TAKE 2 MINUTES
MAKE ONE CALL
CALL GOVERNOR FERGUSON
360-902-4111
Tell the Governor to immediately end federal immigration agents' access to Washington DOL driver and license plate data for civil immigration enforcement.
Not sure what to say?
Swipe for a scriptFlyer with a photo of uniformed men wearing POLICE and ICE vests leaning into a car.

A CALL TO ACTION
Protect our immigrant neighbors

Federal immigration agents are using Washington State driver and vehicle data to find and detain people.

We demand that Governor Ferguson end federal immigration agents' access to Washington DOL driver and license plate data for civil immigration enforcement.

It doesn't have to be this way.
Washington does not have to help facilitate the detention of our immigrant neighbors.HOW ARE FEDERAL AGENTS USING WASHINGTON DOL DATA?

1 (logo for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement)
Federal agents can run a Washington license plate through Nlets, a national law-enforcement information network.

2 (logo for Washington State Patrol)
In Washington, the request can go through a system operated by the Washington State Patrol.

3 (logo for WA Dept of Licensing)
It can then access Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) data, including the vehicle owner's name, address and vehicle information.

4 (image of an ICE SUV)
Federal agents can use this information with federal databases to identify and detain people for immigration enforcement.

298
The University of Washington Center for Human Rights has verified 298 cases in which immigration arrests occurred following federal agents' searches of Washington license plate numbers through Nlets.
This ongoing access goes against the intent of the Governor's previous order barring ICE from accessing DOL data.
Source: Thurston Immigrant Solidarity League, Letter to Governor Ferguson, Sept. 30, 2026.WHAT YOU CAN SAY
(Feel free to use your own words.)
“I'm calling to ask Governor Ferguson to immediately end federal immigration agents' access to Washington DOL driver and license plate data for civil immigration enforcement.
Allowing federal immigration agents to continue accessing this information runs counter to the intent of the Governor's previous order barring ICE from accessing DOL data.
Washington should not continue providing federal immigration agents with another route to access this information.
I join immigrant rights advocates and community members across Washington, including the Thurston Immigrant Solidarity League, in calling for an end to this access.
Governor Ferguson has the authority to end it, and I'm asking him to act now.
I stand with my immigrant neighbors. "
