THINK AMYLOID! More prevalent than we realise. Look for the red flags. HF nurses are well placed to question red flags and escalate patients for diagnosis and treatment . Geraint Jenkins #mdt25 #freedomfromfailure @BSHNurseForum @WelshHFNF @BSHeartFailure

Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come. ‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair. Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.

An early wish for a happy and healthy 2025. Life is too short to dwell on the past. The NY is a symbolic time to let go of past and be happy and grateful for the good in our lives. Thank you to my fantastic friends and family who have been my strength and fed my soul and kept me going in 2024. ❤️

My direct appeal to @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social & Keir_Starmer in the light of yesterday's vote on AD. If they sincerely care about dying people, surely now they will publicly & urgently commit to properly funding our threadbare, neglected palliative care? www.theguardian.com/society/2024...
