Glasgow's drug consumption room has dealt with 195 medical emergencies since it opened last year. It saves lives. Drug addiction and misuse is a health crisis. We need a major expansion of harm reduction and treatment services, including safe consumption facilities.

Scotland’s going to be hearing a lot from me about apprenticeships, I think they’re crucial to the future and I’m proud one of my first acts as minister was to approve a 10% uplift, that’s £8.8MILLION of new money, to apprenticeships Scotland wide. We’ve a lot to do but we’re up to it.

I'm just home from the hospital. I had a nasty fall and they did some x-rays. Thankfully nothing is broken but I've sprained my ankle badly and have a cut over my eyebrow. They told me to use an icepack, keep my leg raised and try to avoid putting my weight on it. It should heal up in a week or two.

The BBC reports that ‘the Scottish Labour Party has elected a new leader’. FAKE NEWS! There is no legal entity in the UK called the ‘Scottish Labour Party’, only a branch of the British Labour Party. Only ~6000 people voted in Labour’s branch office election. More folk live in Lerwick, than voted.
