NVDA has a magnifier now. Huh. That's interesting... But what I'm EXTREMELY frustrated about is that NVDA STILL has no dark mode. Gah! 😩 I get all the wxpython issues yada yada, but IT IS JUST SO PAINFUL and makes my experience MISERABLE.

I have a challenge for all of you. For my posts moving forward, I want you to call out if you think it was written by an AI, edited by AI, or it was all me. Let's see how well you all do. 😁 Start with this post. What do you all say?

I'm incredibly frustrated with Gemini. I do not recommend troubleshooting niche tech issues with Gemini unless you want an exercise in frustration... or if you want to have an urge to throw your phone at the wall. [insert extended rant here] 😤

How did these AI bots get into my inbox?! No, you can't be on the show! 😒 Examples: "I'm writing because your show absolutely electrifies me!", "I'm not sure he's a slam dunk for your show, which is exactly why I'm writing." MAKE IT STOP!

My go to photos app is Google photos... but why did they make the icons at the bottom so small and floating? And why, oh, why is there no "screen recordings" folder or option?? Why do they stick it all in "movies"?

I take a ton of screenshots for content creation and accessibility testing, and the cleanest way to annotate them is to just use the screen reader! To make sure it stands out use: iOS: VoiceOver "Large Cursor" Android: Talkback "Thick Borders" Just don't forget Alt Text!)
Shows side by side screenshots of Android and iOS screen reader settings on a starry night background. Text at the top reads: "Screenshot Annotations with a screen reader!"

On the left, an Android "Change focus indicator" menu shows the "Thick borders" toggle enabled. A list of color options is visible, with "Yellow" selected, showing a bright yellow outline around the menu item. A Google "G" logo is next to the phone.

On the right, an iOS "VoiceOver" settings menu shows the "Large Cursor" toggle enabled, creating a thick white outline around the text. An Apple logo is next to the phone.

How do you like Alexa plus? I was holding off on it since I've heard it has its issues and some skills don't work at all or don't work well. But I've decided to give Alexa plus an actual try. It seems to do pretty well, but my pet peeve is that it defaults to a follow up mode.

With the Oakley Vanguard Meta glasses, you can set the action button to an AI command. For example, "what is this" or "read the text". It would be great to be able to press a single button and have it read text in games, but the tint makes it impossible to play. I wish it were on other models!

Is love blind? Or is it the only one that truly sees? Is it blind to our flaws? Or does it choose to stay regardless? Does love blindly accept us where, and as, we are? Or does love accept us, while it calls us to hope, to aspire for greater?
