My wife went to London for work yesterday, and brought me back a little business man with his own laptop. He is sitting on my desk to keep me company while I work from home.

After finishing my jumper last week I had a fair amount of yarn leftover but not really enough to make a whole thing. So I've made 13 small granny squares. My plan is to do the same with any leftover yarn and then when I have enough for a blanket, attach them all together. #crochet #yarn #nowaste

While playing D&D I like to keep my hands busy so I don't pick up my phone and scroll. Usually I knit or crochet but I had a door that needs a doorstop, so I hand sewed this while we played. I didn't even spill any of the pellets because I used a jug to pour them in! #sewing #dungeonsanddragons

This morning I did a quick job of sewing up the front of a cardigan I made a few months ago. The cardigan was a bit too baggy and kept slipping off so I grabbed some leftover yarn from when I made the cardigan originally and I crochet the front edge together #crochet #yarn

Plant update! The rosemary and thyme are growing well, and the lemonbalm is so small it's not yet shed the seed skin and I had to put an arrow to make it easier to find, and I put a lot of poppy seeds on the last one but only one has sprouted so far!

My poor lavender bush didn't survive the extreme temps here last week, so I've chopped it back in the hopes that it can be revived. I gathered the nicest of the branches and tied them together with some cotton yarn to make a nice dried bouquet to sit on the mantle piece. #lavender #herbgarden

Today I took a break from crocheting cardigans, and sewed a cushion cover. I would liked to have used the sewing machine for this as it would have only taken 5mins but its buried deep in my craft room behind most of our possessions, so I sewed it by hand instead. #handsewing #sewing #handmade
