In the light of what's just happened in the UK, this is more than sick. What is wrong with this man?

If you didn't dig it out, it will be back! I couldn't believe the size and depth of the root system on it after only a couple of years. I've planted a pretty clematis in it's place!

Unfortunately I had to cut down and dig out the hops this year as they became invasive, strangling everything in their path. www.etsy.com/uk/listing/4...

Google the symbolism of a robin visiting you - I think you'll find it rather lovely!

You're lucky it even got delivered somewhere - my last Evri parcel never left their depot, I think someone stole the bracelet it contained...

Whilst the whistle is very pretty, I'd really love a little silver weasel...😁

for the inc each time in order to keep the no. of sts on each dpn the same & until it was the desired width, then carried on sequence until yarn ball finished.. Stuffed it & rolled it up!

It's not really a pattern. I just knitted it in the round on 4 dpns, starting with 4 sts on each dpn. Knitted 4 rows in stocking st, 2 rows purl, and increased 1 stitch each first row of stockings st, using a different dpn

Saw cushions like this on holiday in Lyme Regis and decided to have a go at replicating them...

Hot off the easel - the Japanese garden at Beale Park in watercolour. The greens in the actualpainting are much more vibrant. This will be in my Etsy shop once I can get a decent photo of it.

Things I was frightened of as a child: 1. The dark 2. The toilet flush upstairs (we lived in half an ancient manor house & the upstairs loo made awful moaning and clanking sounds) 3. Freddie Bartholomew (don't ask...) 4. The Hound of the Baskervilles, he lived in my bedroom cupboard 5. Bears

Summer must be on it's way out - dog had to wear a coat for her walk, I'm wearing slippers not flipflops, and contemplating soup for lunch...

1. Saxamaphone 2. Tramampoline 3. Mmmm, floor pie... 4. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time... 5. Spider Pig, SpiderPig, does whatever a Spider Pig does!

Had to go and check! No, it stays on the table - the legs are just one layer of crochet, not strong enough to hold on.

Saw a funny crocheted coaster on the net last week, decided to create my own version. You set it up by pushing the body into a dome, then when the cup sits on it, the head & legs spring up around the cup. I could have fun with this, other animals...
