carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Wasn't the point of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign designed to address a similar problem, although not on the scale of today of course! Maybe we've always been a Nation of litterers, but I don't know why. It's deeply depressing. 130

carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 09/03/2026Proper daffodils indeed. How lovely. 120
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 07/03/2026Super photo of the perching egret Steven. 000
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 12/02/2026I truly wish I could do the same but somehow don't think I will! Just keep getting drawn back in 🤔 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 12/02/2026Just like your posts. Every morning I'm driven to know what's been happening in the world, here and abroad. It's always so troubling and sad, but I can't close my eyes. So I make this place my last visit before getting on with the day, knowing my spirits will always be lifted, thank you. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 06/02/2026Oh James, I'm right there with you! 😊 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 05/02/2026Herald moth on my bedroom ceiling this week. Gone now so must have hunkered down again. 😊 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 29/01/2026Not too far from me there is a "known" 5-bar gate where seed is strewn and in a lucky winter attracts many brambling, chaffinch, corn bunting and more. The same thing, complete joy and wonder. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 20/01/2026I've just turned a horrible shade of green😊 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 13/01/2026Watch them every day in my garden do this. . . . . . perfect. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 13/01/2026Oh! lucky, lucky you. Persistence has paid off this time. I've only seen this bird once, in Wales, and am always on the look out for it. I've heard it often at Nagshead but it's so far eluded me. Nice pictures 😊 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 01/01/2026And what a bird to draw this year to a close. Thank you again for all your lovely posts. Wishing, hoping and praying for calmer, kinder times ahead. 💚 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Happy New Year to you too, Steven. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 24/12/2025I'm so lucky to see robins every day, never take it for granted. They, and the song thrush, lift my spirits through the dark, dreary days of winter, as do your lovely posts. Thank you. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 24/12/2025Oh, how lovely. Thank you for brightening a dark, dreary morning. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 22/12/2025I'm lucky to live very close to half a dozen of these beauties. I cherish them throughout the seasons, visiting most weeks, just to say "Hello". 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 20/12/2025Beautifully put. At this time of year I'm always hoping for woodcock. The disappearing back end of one, which is mostly all you get, would satisfy me! Lucky you. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 20/12/2025You're dead right, they're so flighty. You did well to get these shots. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 13/12/2025I too have heard a blackbird singing, two evenings in a row. Not the full number, but a few sweet notes unmistakably blackbird. Never heard this before in December, but then it is incredibly mild. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 10/12/2025I live in the middle of the country, very far away from the sea. Your words remind me of January stays in Cadgewith and many exhilarating walks along the cliffs - I share your yearning. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Lovely pictures to start off my morning. 000
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 07/12/2025I love that he sings throughout the winter. The thrush and the robin brightening up the darker days, holding the ring until the others return, soon. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 05/12/2025This fills me with shivers of joy. 110
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 04/12/2025I love that they sing throughout the winter months, pure joy. 010
carolinejune.bsky.social @carolinejune.bsky.social · 20/11/2025Goldcrests can be amazingly confiding. Special moments. 010
