Hey, literary citizens! Got a minute? If so, please #AskYourLibrary to buy my newest children’s book, #NiceToEatYou, a funny read-aloud perfect for Halloween! (May or may not contain a witch. 🧙👀) For a request template or more info: karenyin.com/books/nice-t... Art by @carolinacoroa.bsky.social

Image features the cover of Nice to Eat You surrounded by library cards of the characters, with names like Lost Kid and Sweet Old Lady. The cover has a pink-faced cat-eye-glasses-wearing old lady holding a platter of cupcakes, the other hand raised in welcome. The word "Eat" is written next to the word "Meet," which has been X-ed out. Behind her, leafless trees with haunted faces scream silently under a crescent moon. Text surrounding the cover reads: Please #AskYourLibrary to buy this book!," followed by book details:

my favorite spread of iaiá e o fundo do mar: when iaiá dives for the first time and is surrounded by sea life. My dearest childhood memories are in water so it always warms my heart up💙🌊 #kidlit #kidlitillustration #iaiaeofundodomar

This was the first book I truly loved, interactive, with flaps and moving parts, full of mysteries and with it’s own invented language that adults could not read 🥰
