Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 30/06/2025It was so much fun! I cried literal tears at the end because of how moved I was by the roleplay! You game mastered beautifully, elegantly, humorously and sexily. 000

Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 15/11/2024When I was 19-20 me and a bunch of friends went into the woods to go camping. And while there, drunk, we invented a goddess: Ignesia. Goddess of campfires, smores, camping, and spiders We collectively praised her for only one night, but still Sometimes, I remember. Glory to Ignesia. 020

Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024This ruleset is incredible and fun, with so much to unpack here and I genuinely cannot wait to play it. 110
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Also it encourages your players to have a pet. The bane of most TTRPG tables, this ruleset thinks you should have a cat and honestly they’re so right. (Also horses are canon. Shoutout to my personal beef with the Fallout universe over that) 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024There’s details about the religions that have come up in the future of Aliens, about the different corporations, the different governments, about the different planets, and about even non-Xenomorph alien species! There’s so much in here!!! 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024It’s so full of lore tidbits I wouldn’t have known about either - and the implications of them as you read and encounter them are - implicating. Your dreams can be fake, implanted propaganda? Who the FCK first ate the gelatin a Queen produced?! 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Two of the main ‘rules’ for being a Game Mother by the way - I love how this game is clearly for fans and is actively encouraging you to reference the line, so the things, riff from the movies! And so encouraging you to brutally kill your friends 😇 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024This ruleset also has a Stress system which can let you push your rolls, panic features, and so much more. It’s really in-depth, I plan to try to find any footage of an actual play for this rule set so I can have a better example of how it’s done. 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024The ‘classes’ are as followed: Colonial Marine Colonial Marshal Company Agent Medic Officer Pilot Scientist Roughneck Kid (If ‘Aliens’ is any indicator, Kid could be the most OP class.) 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Character attributes are broken down to 4 key ones: Strength, Wits, Agility, Empathy. It’s a 2d6 system. And gaining experience is based on what you did or did not do during the session. I feel like someone on the development team was a fan of Powered by the Apocalypse games. 😉 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Dungeon Master? Game Master? Storyteller? In this rule set, you are ✨ Mother ✨ Obviously a reference to the ship’s MU-TH-UR from the series, but also maybe to the ‘mother’ of aliens - The Queen, and maybe to THE Mother, Ellen Ripley. 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024( side note: the authors and developers of this ruleset clearly care about the lore of the universe and it’s so beautiful to see. They include a recommended reading list for some of the novels set here! ) 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024There’s this beautiful timeline of the ‘Alien’ universe bringing us to the ‘present day.’ ✅ It mentions the events of ‘Alien: Isolation’ ⚠️ This book must’ve been released before ‘Romulus’, there’s no mention given to events there. 🥲 It makes Alien3 - my least favorite - important. 100
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024One thing I love is how in the first chapter - which is trying to set up the theme of it all, there’s these side blurbs of a ship’s log as the crew of ‘The Miranda’ clearly encounters a Xenomorph and the growing dread that becomes recorded as time goes on. It’s so freaking cool! 110
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Opening it up, on the inside cover is a Star Map of the canon universe and it’s freaking gorgeous. I spent probably 10 minutes alone admiring this, and getting excited when I found Sevastapool station on it. It’s beautiful. 💜💜💜 120
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Hello I’m going to dump my thoughts about the #Alien TTRPG I bought recently and how excited I am to maybe run a game one day. The book is SOLID, like easily 2x the size of D&D5e PHB, and it comes with a cute little ribbon to help you mark your place! 130
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 21/10/2024I love ttrpgs, just got my hands on the offical Alien one and it’s juicy! I also like video games (Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Fire Emblem, Sims). Musicals are a big interest of mine, and I’ve been getting more and more into horror recently. I also have a cat, and she’s cute. 000
Carol ✨ 🍉 @caroldirge.bsky.social · 20/10/2024Hello and fun fact - my Twitter profile picture and my Bluesky profile picture are both commissions I had done of a D&D character I had - just different versions of her. Here I use her happy and non traumatized version because hopefully this is less of a hellsite. 060
