Terrible air quality as huge swathes of Europe are (again) hit by extreme heat. Climate change and poor air quality go together. Breathing is not an option: but dumping toxic gases in our atmosphere is. We can do better. We must.

New data released by trade association Eurelectric: 2024 was the EU's cleanest year ever for power generation, with fossil fuels only accounting for 28% of the energy mix. Emissions from the EU power sector dropped 13% last year compared to the previous year. We are getting there.
