I never met Harlan Ellison, but I have read enough of him, about the sort of person he was, that I feel confident in saying that he would have HATED generative AI and that he would have HATED this. I’m open to being wrong (though I doubt my stance could be disproven), but I seriously doubt I am.

I’ve said this before but… The biggest reason King Shark has had many different interpretations with none becoming definitive is because the most important thing about him (other than an insatiable appetite to eat people) is that he’s Kanaka Maoli. And no one knows how to write Hawaiians.

Fawcett's Captain Marvel, a pioneer in the superhero genre, was likely the first superhero to do a thunderclap in the comics. Usually a move that's more associated with the Hulk, Captain Marvel was making waves with it in the 1950's. (Captain Marvel Adventures #149 [August, 1953])

Oh, Stemot. Yeah, he’s still awful. I once shared an another fan’s fan-made edit of Henry Cavill’s Superman costume where the colors were brighter, more saturated and he was given trunks. I said it looked way better. And Stemot told me to drink bleach. (Or something to that effect.)
