Bit more. I've started with UV and adding materials on it, but its losing readability. Also spent too long modeling parts that are barely visible because I....am...a fool. Going to go back to the rudders. Nighty Night!!!!

Bit more of the racing ship which has large silly fuel tanks at the front, atrocious rudder systems and very recognizable rocket engine parts

I have about 45minutes free a day. So been doing the get it started then polish it later thing. Started building the replacement for the placeholder ship [next post], but got a base animation sorted......sort of, it'll change, learning stuff.

As I get deeper into blender its quiet madness. Today was working out maintaining object instances across scenes yet allowing for seperate lighting and material setups per scene on many gb, several thouand object files. I can't abide shit file management these days :D

One of the arcades i've worked on is live. Designed the guns / main unit up to construction. Concepted environments. Then modelled, rigged and animated in game things. Was hoping the video would show the rockets animating / blasting off as I did that for example in this game mode.

I really liked Electric State. Nice pacing, story, grey area villains, pretty visuals and style, bit goofy, some plot holes but enjoyable to watch. Gonna watch it again wheeeeeeeeeee.

Finally got a good bit of the lighting in place and most of the ship has now been primed... it's almost time to start thinking about the paint job/livery scheme. When finally complete (with asteroid attached), the model will be over 5 feet in length.
