they’re all on the “week 1” part of the event, this makes no sense…

100

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

but wasn't it supposed to be four weeks? i can't find the information anywhere of how many times do we need to log in

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

did you guys understand this freaking event? why are two items from this week not unlocked at the beginning of the week?

same here... i was baffled in finding out that there are mods for "realistic banking" in the sims 4... like, what? menstruation mods also make me REALLY confused as to why.........

I want to expand on why I'm advising "Don't use new tools that aren't cleared by experienced mod-support." In the last several weeks, there has been an upsurge of "mod managers" and other mod-related tools released by people with little or no modding experience. MOST ARE BAD. (1/x)

Tip of the day: It's NOT POSSIBLE to fully automate #TheSIms4 50-50 testing. No software has eyes to see how your CC is broken in-game. No software can run a particular gameplay scenario that triggers the way a mod breaks the game. Don't use new tools that aren't cleared by experienced mod-support

scam of the week goes, again, to sixam! a ten-item pack for $3.99 (20,35 BRL), $0.399 per item. meaning you're paying nearly twice the price per item compared to a regular kit (costing $0.217 per item, considering a 23-item kit).

0112

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

and to end the showcase of the townies, we have these two families: one with three gorgeous mermaids and the other with some really fun townies set to a lot of chaos.

030

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

oh they're also makeovers from sims that are on the manage worlds selection! in order: Paka'a Uha, Ukupanipo Hekekia, Nalani Mahi'ai and Kalamainu'u Iona

110

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

i don't know if there are mermaids at maragogi, but here we have a bunch of them! these are some of the sims that are on the manage worlds, to walk the streets of sulani and amaze your sims that are living the brazilian life (i mean they're all gorgeous???)

130

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

now, for the sims! we've had only one makeover from the original families (the kealoha family, who turned to queiroga) who live in the city. the rest are original for the save.

120

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

and the last two lots are also residentials, one being for the kealoha makeover (queiroga family on the save) and the other is a starter home!

130

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

next four with some very different residential lots - two more on the modern side and two that look VERY brazilian (in my opinion lol).

130

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

next four with a custom lot (from adventure awaits), a rental, a small business (my amazing resort!) and a residential with a small business (a little family bar)

130

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

and let's showcase all the amazing builders for this city, right? first four, with a gym, two beaches and a bar (in this order).

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

here's the download link! www.curseforge.com/sims4/save-f... but there are a few points: ➖ there's also selvadorada in this download! as is willow creek and san myshuno. ➖ we have no pack limit, so you might find some items missing upon downloading. ➖ next town is already in the works! 😎

also, last week's scam of the week was so scammy that they cut the price in half! dynamic pricing is so much fun! bsky.app/profile/cari...

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

yesterday it was 600 moola, even pricier than a kit, but hey it seems that they had the common sense of charging just USD 0,31 per item with no gameplay attached to it instead of USD 0,22 which is what EA used to charge us... yummy.

020

pri | cariocasimmer 🇧🇷 @cariocasimmer.bsky.social · 03/04/2026

scam of the week is this set of 16 items for 500 moola, which is the price of a kit (usually with 23 items). maker pack made by icemunmun...

it'll certainly became more complicated, but the gist of it for me is that if microtransactions are involved, i'm against. i don't even crave it in my game, i just have a complete disgust of the commercial practice that embeds the items. it's as if they're tainted.
