if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."

Some Christmas Jemily 😌 (pls do not repost)

Illustration of Jennifer Jareau and Emily Prentiss kissing in front of a lit Christmas tree covered in ornaments referencing the show/their relationship. There is a stocking hanging on a fireplace in the background, a Christmas card and family photo on the mantle.

Fanfiction doesn't require constructive criticism unless expressly asked for by the author, and if you're rating a fic out of 10 in the bookmark - DON'T. Fanfiction is written and posted for free, you're not a literary reviewer and AO3 isn't fucking goodreads. This is evergreen advice. Pass it on.

A LOT of artists are doing Black Friday sales this year. Like, way more than I've seen in years past. That tells me that SO many of us need people buying our art. Please please please buy from artists in the coming weeks and consider us throughout the year when purchasing gifts.

if you see this, post something pink! 💗

A winged figure sits on a cloud, resting her head in her right hand and clutching loosely a golden arrow in the other. She wears Ancient Roman dress; white under tunic, red stola (a long dress-like garment) and pink palla (a cloak wrapped around her lower body and left arm). The palla has some embroidery along the bottom. Her hair is white and pale pink, curly strands trailing over her shoulders. Atop her head sits a gold diadem engraved with hearts and leaf decoration. A single tear sits below her left eye.
