Congratulations to Carolyn on the launch of her book! Aimed at career professionals this book gives valuable insights into how we can "better support achievers to uncover what’s really behind dissatisfaction, misalignment, or burnout, and coach for success that feels both fulfilling and sustainable"

A Bridge Group study, commissioned by @upp-foundation.bsky.social uncovered how and why, for many graduates, staying on in the local region matters more than a higher salary: bit.ly/4d2gxNs #graduates #university #research
Graphic with a copy of the report cover and the text: "Our research shows that graduates who stay in the region of study have different priorities and are thinking about success in alternative ways: ways that are not currently captured by standard performance metrics. Salary was not their primary consideration in choosing where to live and work."

Knowledge of contextual offers -lower grades offers- or additional consideration at admissions could make a big difference to a students' decision on where to apply. It's definitely worth researching, especially for criteria such as postcode which some applicants may fall into but not be aware of.
