The Cthonol Nineguards so called because of the 9 regiments founded, all were recalled to their volcanic homeworld. These veteran hazardous tunnel fighters are now seconded to other conflicts across the imperium, lending expertise to other regiments and war-fronts. #nerdlings #warhammercommunity

A space marine is depicted in front of a propagandised view of himself as a stained glass window where he is portrayed as this angelic warrior - the reality is a horrifically mutilated killing machine

Urrce of the Covenant from the Mörderin kickstarter. I tried to stick to the colours in the artwork, as well as the colours from the John Blanche @thearmypainter.bsky.social sets. #nerdlings #warhammercommunity

These graphics slap. Games should still be weird af like this.

A boss fight from an 8bit side scroller game called Gynaug. This depicts the angelic player character fighting a strange giant beast with vaguely human features.

Had one of my bouts of insomnia last night and smashed through the last of The Scarlet Gospels by Clive Barker. The second book I’ve read of his, I loved Hellbound heart, and the whole Hellraiser thing is my jam but I just didn’t love this. It was fine. I have Imajica lined up, is that better?

I didn’t think my mierce miniatures dude was creepy enough, and the fly ability didn’t fit- so I have started working on something else as my counts as Necrosphinx for my Barrow Monarchs (Forest themed Tomb Kings)

Adam and Joe spoke to me as a weird early teenager and I stumbled across their radio 6 show during a kinda dark time. The mirth and silliness of it helped. I have always had a soft spot for Adam especially and found this, as well as his previous book touching.

In poetic timing I finished this one up this weekend. Wasn’t exactly what I hoped for in terms of the book, but an interesting read from a historic point of view. But whatever the fuck we have now clearly isn’t working.

Finished this one up on the weekend. I’m already veggie, and honestly some of the stats are kind of alarming. More American focused but in a similar way to how Game Changers on Netflix convinced me to go fully veggie, this might be what pushes me over to fully vegan.

Finished this one up just before my holiday and bit mixed about it. Was the audiobook, so perhaps the narrator didn’t help. This is the first of Dick’s books I have read despite being familiar with his work. Hints of Snowcrash, some great concepts with collapsing realities.

Finished this earlier in the week. Absolutely loved it, reminded me a little of ‘This is how you lose the time war’. Ticked a whole lot of my boxes. ✅ unreliable narrator ✅ alternate history ✅ dark and dystopian ✅ flawed characters Yes please.

Made it to my grand old age without ever reading this. Did, however, listen to the banger soundtrack from the radio play a bunch while hanging out in GW as a youth. Fixed now. Foundational if a little dry. Would recommend.

Finished up The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla earlier this week as part of my reread of the whole Dark Tower series - arguably one of the more divisive books in the series but even with this 4th read through… I still love it. These books are my Lord of the Rings
