I haven't been very active here. But our group of young devs from a Taiwanese university have developed this amazing distortion plugin. A triangle of destruction. Top corner analog. Left digital and right wave shapers. DM me if you are interested in being a beta tester! Btw the plugin will be free!

Back in 2015 at Berklee… Sleep 📉 Self worth 📉 Finances 📉 Chops 📈 Anxiety 📈 Endorsement deals 📈 Jazz academia definitely strained my relationship to music but having gone through it also taught me so much about myself. Needless to say, I’m beyond thrilled to have found my home in game audio 👾❤️

Still buzzing from my "Sonic Nightmares!" talk at Gamescom Asia! 🤯 I shared my concept for "217," a horror game with NO MAP. How do you escape? You have to navigate using only 3D binaural sound 🎧. Sound becomes your only guide... and your deepest fear. Thanks @gamescomasia!

I started my day today making some GUI sounds for a horror game menu. And when I was laying some stuff I got an idea for a groove. So I turned on the Pulsar 23 and started making this groove. #Jamuary2025 what do you guys think

I had a Scarlett gen2 before, then I bought a Volt 276. I was convincing myself about the same thing too. But before everything was analog. Now we have computers and everything gets converted. I bought this Arturia because I need all the inputs and outputs.

It fills the room with this energy. I'm listening to some stuff I didn't listen to before. And when the vocals hit..you hear that delay just freaking amazing.

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Geek post: Some say that it's merely impossible to hear the difference in DAC quality nowadays. I'm testing my new Audiofuse 16rig. And it just blew my mind. 😳🤯 Those highs!!! And mid-highs! And the stereo field. I have the Kali Audio LP6 V2 and I have never heard this upper field... It's like 3D.

Call me old... But Trance breaks are way underrated. I'm a trance lover and nowadays everything is techno. I listen to it... And... Mmm that sounds trance for me man. And nothing new tbh. Very few artists are now innovating. Now that music is more accessible than ever this... Shouldn't be happening

More crazy patches with the Erica Syntrx II.

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Just playing around with the Erica Syntrx II. What an amazing synth!!! It is a dream come true!! It is so easy to make patches. Wow! #synthesizer #modular #erica

Are these 3 laws confirmed? Or do they need to go through another gov power to get approved?

Finally an interface for the electronic musician. 16 inputs!! I need to buy more synths now 😂 #arturia #audio #sounddesign

I pulled the trigger with the Erica Syntrx II and the Arturia 16rig for interface. This is going to be a very nice upgrade from the Universal Audio Volt 276 I currently have. I'm so excited!!!! 🎄🎁 🥂🥳

We couldn't find a better vest for the cold. A friend gifted chancho(yes pig in Spanish 😂) this vest and it is from the baby area in Uniqlo 😂😂😂 and fits him perfectly lmao

I think you should film the jams!! Do it!

010

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Wow that's impressive. What do you use it for? I mean... Do you make music? Or something else?

110

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Wow! I want a hydrasynth too 😂

010

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

You are making me think this harder... I do want to get the Erae touch 2. But if I get the Syntrx II I am not getting the Erae

010

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Yeah I've been thinking about this too. But there isn't anything like doing with your hands with knobs. Gosh such a hard decision 😂

110

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Trying to decide what to buy for Christmas 🎁🎄 I have two options. A- Erica Steampipe + Erae Touch 2. B- Erica Syntrx ii. I love how innovative the Steampipe sounds, but I've always loved the Syntrx II and wanted one. 😂 What do you guys think?

Probably the best game just incredible

000

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

I don't think so. If the design is cool! Give it a try! I think Soma also sells some Lyra 8 with personalized design.

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Oh man; the white version looks so neat!!

100

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

Thanks man! The mic doesn't get those low frequencies. But it was very uncomfortable hahaha the Lyra8 can do some crazy stuff 😂

I spoke to Taiwan Plus about how Taiwan's minimum wage is still too low and not adequate for a basic standard of living, and that Taiwan needs to overhaul its economic thinking and grow its minimum wage much faster in order to push up overall wages. youtu.be/huCXh19zo4s?...

The problem is the laobans. They control and influence the gov. They know they have been working this way. They know if they pay better wages to workers. They won't earn the same. Lower profits. Sadly Taiwan is a factory country.

A little while ago I started working on a vampire 🦇 project that I stopped due to some management differences. But I kept the music and I truly love it. What do you guys think?

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

But Taiwan number 1 right? I'm tired of that propaganda, very few people actually see the real taiwan.

Carbon Fiber @carbonfiber23.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

It seems like Taiwan's weather is about two months behind. Today feels more like October than December.

I recently acquired these death whistles to use them in a horror sound track for a survival horror video game. 🎶 A family gets kidnapped and taken to the woods by a group of men. 😱 Scary!!!! 🔪🩸 #horror #sounddesign #music #videogames #videogamemusic #gameaudio
