It is official: the 38th International Meeting of Sedimentology #38IMS is held in Huelva on 24-26 June 2025. Local Organisers led by Juan González and the IAS Bureau Cathy Hollis, Gonzalo Veiga, João Trabucho, Joanna Pszonka, Daniel Ariztegui, Elias Samankassou launched the meeting preparation.

For my first post, a view of hypogenic voids in Dirtlow Rake, a strike-slip fault on the northern Derbyshire Platform. These voids - and their calcite fill - are occupying much of my time as we ponder their potential role in fluid flow and reaction in Mississippian Limestone
