We're back to season 5 of Agents of SHIELD. The gang are back from space/the future, with yet more characters I don't care about, and are apparently fighting fear itself? I'll be honest, I don't have a clue what's going on. Coulson is dying, and I still love FitzSimmons more than anything.

After a lovely, but flipping hot, day out, we've retreated back to the sofa and the MCU. We're on to Agents of SHIELD, season 5, and the gang are lost in space.

Starting another new to us show tonight for the MCU watch through. We're up to the first season of Runaways! The only thing I know about this is that James Marsters is in it, so my Buffy fan heart is hopeful.

I Kissed A Boy is BACK on the BBC and I am beyond ready for a big gay summer with these boys. I've not even finished the first episode and I'm already loving the outfits and the music choices again. Whoever chooses the music for this show gets it so right. Mash up of Pony and Toxic, anyone?

We've had a few days off the MCU watching, but we're tonight we're back and starting the first season of The Punisher. We didn't watch this at the time, and I'm excited to see it!

Up next on the MCU watch-through is the Inhumans series. We did start with this when it first aired and gave up. We're going to give it a second chance, but reserve the right to skip it if it's as bad as we remember!

Tonight's MCU viewing is Thor: Ragnarok. Definitely the best Thor movie, and the best soundtrack. Let's go!

The background is colorful with circular patterns, spaceships, and green horns suggesting the character Hela. The title "Thor: Ragnarok" is at the bottom with the release date.

We've got a treat for the MCU rewatch today. Black Panther! I love this film, and I'm so sad we only got one Black Panther movie with Chadwick Boseman. He's fantastic in this.

Movie poster for Marvel Studios' Black Panther. The central figure is T’Challa (Black Panther), portrayed by Chadwick Boseman, in a powerful pose wearing his Black Panther suit. Surrounding him are major characters including Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Shuri (Letitia Wright), and others. The background features the futuristic city of Wakanda with advanced architecture and a glowing blue hue. At the bottom, the title “Black Panther” is boldly displayed with the tagline “Long Live the King.” The release date and logos for Marvel Studios, RealD 3D, and IMAX 3D are also shown.

It's time to watch Doctor Strange! It's been ages since we've seen Strange in current continuity, and I've missed him! I like the first Strange film a lot, so this rewatch should be fun.

Doctor Strange stands in the center wearing his iconic red Cloak of Levitation and mystical Eye of Agamotto, casting a glowing orange magical spell with his hand. The background features a surreal, kaleidoscopic cityscape with buildings bending and rotating in impossible directions, creating a sense of altered reality and dimension. The scene is vibrant and dramatic, capturing the magical, mind-bending nature of the Marvel film.

Tonight's MCU rewatch viewing is Black Widow. I admit, I wasn't especially excited for this film (I like Natasha, I don't care for ScarJo), but I actually really enjoyed it when it came out. I've only seen it once though, so how does it hold up to a repeat viewing?

Wearing a white tactical suit, Natasha Romanoff holds a black firearm while standing on a snow-covered metal walkway. She has long red hair, a serious expression, and a sword strapped to her back. The background features a clear blue sky.

After the struggle of disappointing Iron Fist, we're back in a good place with the great MCU rewatch. Captain America: Civil War is tonight's viewing!

A group of superheroes is charging forward on an airport tarmac in a scene from Captain America: Civil War. From left to right, the characters are Falcon flying with mechanical wings, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Captain America with his shield, Scarlet Witch, and Winter Soldier. In the background, there is an airplane, an airport terminal, smoke, and several vehicles.

This moment between Wolverine and Captain America from Secret Wars #10 felt a little relevant...

Wolverine, Magneto, and Captain America are standing in a futuristic-looking setting. Wolverine, wearing his classic yellow-and-brown costume, is angrily confronting Captain America, who is in his red, white, and blue uniform with his shield raised. Magneto, in his red and purple costume, stands between them, raising his arms dramatically. Wolverine, with a tense posture, says, "What you don’t understand, Cap’n, is that we mutants are at war! Always have been, always will be!" Captain America listens with a serious expression while Wolverine continues, "You, with your high-falutin’ ideals—you’re the champion of the American Dream, fightin’ for liberty and justice—"

A close-up of Wolverine and Captain America. Wolverine, now pointing an accusatory finger at Captain America, has an intense, angry expression. Captain America remains silent, his face solemn. Wolverine continues his speech: "—But only for your own kind! For humans... for regular Americans! But you just stand by while mutants are being persecuted, don’t you? When have you ever fought for our rights?" Captain America looks troubled but does not respond.
