Ok. I managed to both break and then “repair” my laptop at xhain tonight. 😂 Good thing it happened somewhere I had tools available.

A purple cnc’ed aluminum laptop with the internals showing and some LEDs lit showing that it successfully powered on after circumventing the charging circuit which fried itself.

Yes! 🙌 I had a moment passing a little hole in the wall spot on my way somewhere else and decided to grab a little snack. €3.50 for this little guy. After US inflation it feels too cheap here (not complaining, just recalibrating).

The little bit of my old photography I still have is weird but reminds me that architecture can be a fun subject. This random take of the STL arch for example.

This wasp was trying to make friends with me in Berlin. It wouldn’t leave my finger for minutes and stung me when I tried to get it off. The fingertip felt raw the rest of the day to remind me of what I had rejected. (I had a cinnamon pastry which wasps love.)

I said goodbye to this beautiful bike yesterday 🥲. It has a new home with a kid who's aiming to take himself to track nationals this season. His prior bike suffered structural damage due to a crash. His mom and I were already talking about it so it felt like it was meant to be when I heard. 💖

Me on an Argon 18 electron 99 track bike (🍁), Honey Wheels (fast, yum 😋), and Vision track bars. Running a street ratio of 54/17 here.

Expensive brake pads. 😅 I skid just the right amount last night as nothing popped but this tire has no rubber left to lose. I think I lose more rubber in the rain.
