CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 25/08/2026There was!! In Splatoon 2 only tho. I fear what a 3rd option could bring 010
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 24/08/2026chocolate-flavoured pop corns saved my life, can confirm 000
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 24/08/2026He can only eat ONE popcorn!! (Do you guys think the popcorn needs to be salted or do they season it themselves?) Anyhow, see you guys in 7 years when I remember the password again! 3102

CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Look, I'm all for fighting the good fight and GenAI can fuck right off the planet, but please anyone, stop being misinformed, do your own research, it took me 10 minutes to know better. Moral of the story, be smarter than Twitter. The bar is low, I know. I'm surprised so little people clear it. 000
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026...Where it states that if they ask to use your data for a specific purpose...you'll be able to opt-out and they'll stop the use and processing of said data. I don't know but it kinda sounds like...what they did? Sure in a scummy way of having it turned on by default, but...does what it says. 5/? 100
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Which brings me to this screenshot that everyone is mindlessly posting on Twitter as "oh they have in the ToS that they use your data for AI so it doesn't matter if you opt-out or not" They fail to read 5 paragraphs down (I put too much faith in the mind of the median Twitter journalist) 4/? 100
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026In Twitch's own FAQ about how the data is used we can use our elementary grade reading comprehension to understand this is just false. If YOU chat on someone's stream THEIR opt-out preferences govern over what can be used for training. This also disproves an even more widespread lie 3/? 100
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Many people are parroting two main things: A Kotaku article (not the greatest source tbh) that states with no proof "Twitch also says that if you opt out but chat in the stream of someone else who hasn’t opted out, that material of yours can be used for AI training." Only one problem with it... 2/? 100
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/08/2026I return because I'm tired of people parroting misinformation about the Twitch GenAI stuff so strap in, this will take a second. So, Twitch put an option in the Privacy and Security section of everyone's Settings that automatically opts you into Amazon's GenAI training. 1/? 130

CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Happy Pride Month!! Remember to be loud, to be colourful, to be PROUD of who you are. Everyone should be able to live their lives to the fullest, so keep fighting and representing those whose voices often get ignored. You all are beautiful human beings, NEVER forget that! 040

Reposted by CapuLinkMellana @mellana.bsky.social · 28/04/2026a big reason why i stepped back (and hence lost a lot of love of the splatoon community) was because when i was trying to defend women (and myself!!!) behind closed doors, i was constantly shot down people (men) think that because you're nice that they can step all over you. don't let them. 1234275
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 25/04/2026Super happy to have finally reached Master Ball Tier! Maybe not the greatest accomplishment, but given my limited experience in competitive, I feel accomplished! Teams were nothing too special, a hyper aggressive Mega Floette team and a TR team with Mega Golurk, pretty fun!! 050

CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 22/04/2026Well what can I say...the stream was a huge success, no questions about it. I feel incredible, truly, I love all that we were able to build as a community and I can't wait to see what's next! In other news, finally broke 2k jumps in the Jump Rope Contest in Pokopia, I can finally hang the joycon 😂 2140

CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 07/04/2026Unfortunately it seems like there's just not as much investment in it, starting from Nintendo itself. It COULD pay out sponsors and a giant venue for some big events...it just doesn't. Even the Splatoon NA circle is good but not great. We can only hope I guess 100

CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/03/2026The fact it needs TWO high end graphic cards to put a gooner AI filter on a perfectly normal looking game is appalling. I can go on some websites and see that shit for free! 100
CapuLink @capulink.bsky.social · 19/03/2026On a real note...gamers who wanted graphics first, have...whatever this is. I've been playing a ton of Tiny Rogues in my free time. 16 bit pixel art that looks like barf on screen half the time, one of the funniest roguelikes I played. Strongly recommend that. Instead of AI boring slop. Fuck AI. 020
