I've experienced my share of sunrises and peaks as well as witnessed the depths of hate and stupidity. I've lived a life wider than most and I am left tired. I've whispered and tasted the breeze, but I am forgotten. I missed the most important lesson. You can't make your mark on the wind.

Just in case no one told you today... You need a pack mule. Or unlimited cargo space. Or a bag of holding.

Rich people always talk about raising the ceiling, but socialists talk about raising the floor. Everyone should be able to live comfortably, not just the rich getting richer.

I hope you are all having a fine holiday season so far. Times are very harsh with lots of hateful people, sickness, loneliness, and cruelty but we must do our part to combat these things... Do what you can. When you can. If you can. 🖖 #miccillian #leftwing

A third Conservative has joined the Liberal Party now ("crossed the floor"), here in Canada. That's how bad the Conservative Party is currently...they're actively fleeing Pierre Poilievre as a sign of protest and doing what's best for the country. 🇨🇦🏴‍☠️

The kettle isn't whistling, it's screaming. Singing the song of my people. People who just want coffee but have to face the rise of the unwanted. Even though this tune has been heard before, we must clean it, so, the kettle is whistling. - Mic Cillian (2025) #poetry #antifascism #antifa

Right-wingers trying to reframe wanting to sleep with minors...after a lifetime of pointing fingers at others... The ones who preach that others are problematic, without showing evidence, is usually evidence for problems they themselves are hiding.

With so much division in the world, we must always remind ourselves that EVERYONE has a story.

I have a feeling more and more countries will do exactly that, as more and more countries realize they NEED to get humanitarian aid to Palestine and Israel is 100% positioning itself as a global enemy.

Trump called Greta an angry young woman who needs anger management. If you aren't angry about the atrocities Israel is committing against Palestinians, the invasion of Russia into Ukraine, the oligarchic fascism in America, the racism in Canada and England, then you simply aren't paying attention.

Happy October 1st, mates! 🍂🍁🎃🍁🍂 I'm enjoying my hazelnut, cinnamon, and nutmeg coffee out on my balcony today, reading through my 5th edition Player's Handbook for D&D, as I've just joined a new campaign and I'm trying to reign in the character I think I'll play. 😁☕️

To be honest, I find almost every influencer, no matter the field, to be just someone who figured out how to get the equipment and produce a show...they are almost never experts on the subject at hand...that's why there's so much debate in their comments.

Trump just stood in front of world leaders, told them they are going to hell and that he should get awards. Remember when the biggest argument in America was Honey BooBoo.

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement that rose to prominence in early-20th-century Europe. Don't let the most idiotic, the most morally vapid people try to tell you that Left-wingers are fascists.

020

Mic Cillian @captncillian.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

Asking Trump about politics and war is less effective than asking a part-time Ronald McDonald mascot what goes into each food product and how the McDonalds corporation fiscally works.

030

Mic Cillian @captncillian.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

I hear you. It's painful to lose those we trusted but it's a relief to see their mask fail.

010

Mic Cillian @captncillian.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

I hear you. For me, I absolutely love seeing people expose themselves as being morally vapid and hateful because they were hiding it before, and now I know they never should have been in my circle in the first place.

110

Mic Cillian @captncillian.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

People aren't disowning friends and family over politics, they're doing it over morals and values...huge difference. If someone supports a monster who has made a living calling for harm, then they deserve to be ostracized.

The term for Charlie Kirk and others like him is Stochastic Terrorist. Although, he wasn't always indirect or vague, he could also be absolutely blunt and calling for violence. Feel free to look up the term.

I didn't want to leave the apartment today because of the crazy heat and humidity but I had to go get an x-ray and do blood-work, as my anxiety was through the roof today, which didn't help. ☀️🥵 But at least now I'm home, in air conditioning and a fan, with coffee, quesadillas, and mozza sticks.

Feels very relevant these days to rewatch Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 4, Episode 21 "The Drumhead". A courtroom drama episode about witch-hunts, emotions over evidence, prejudice, etc... Blood hell, do we ever need a Picard (or a billion) right now to stand up to Trump, ICE, etc... 🖖

Owning a phone is not Capitalism. If you are locked in a medieval dungeon and your jailer brings you water everyday...drinking that water to live doesn't make you pro-dungeon. You do what you can with the resources available to survive. #Capitalism #Marxism You are a victim, not a supporter.

Not me though. I've felt 80 since I was 20, and I know exactly what the heck happened. All the booze, deaths, fights, moves, jobs breaking me, loves lost, missed opportunities and missed sunsets, broken bones, stitches, and the overall poetry of the journey.
