My wife would divorce me if we lived in LA, 50 plus varieties of tomato’s. Just not enough garden space! #vegetablegardening #gardening. #wisconsin

Can you use store bought potato’s as seed potato’s? Yes, but! The reds were bought as organic potato’s in the store so they should not have been sprayed. They sprout and are now planted in grow bags. Cost $1/l compare to seed $6/lb whites were your ordinary super market type and did not sprout. .

if you need to water plants one inch of water a week how much is it? It is about 0.6 gallon per square ft. A 10 gallon grow bag is about a foot square. so at a minimum you need a little over a half gal. But grow bags lose water faster, so always best to check. #vegetablegardening #gardening

Trumpet cutting. In November we got several trumpet plant cuttings. Once roots form , planted in soil and placed on window ledge.Surprised to see flowers already in Jan with just 8 hrs of sun and zero temps outside. #gardening #flowers

Winter gardening: zero temps and snow may stop outside gardening, however container gardening is going strong. Bunch onion and carrot plus lots of herbs on the window ledge. only problem is watering enough plus a little cold by the windows. Grow lights also needed. #vegetablegardening #gardening

These people are lucky as they will not get these diseases in their life time because they will be dead from preventable illness. I find it hard to believe a mother would carry a child for 9 months then let it die from proper medical care. does not make any sense!

Fertilizer! Getting gardens ready for fall, I suggest getting your soil tested. ours is very high in calcium and phosphate. Why? suspect the new soil came off a heavily fertile farm field If getting new soil delivered, ask where it is coming from and have it tested. Be safe test your soil!
