Last weekend I beat Demon's Souls (PS5), meaning I've finished all 7 Soulsborne games for the 1st time ever Not really my type of games, but I do see their merits Personal Enjoyment Ranking: Bloodborne Elden Ring Demon's Souls Dark Souls 1 Dark Souls 3 Sekiro - Extremely Large Gap - Dark Souls 2

Finished Dark Souls 2 for the first time ever last night. Many people say this is the worst game in the soulsborne series. They are correct.

I can't believe @vicvillon.bsky.social would turn around, go backwards, and ram other drivers with her Mega Mushroom on purpose, JUST because she was losing for once. Very unsportsmanlike conduct, smh my head

Nevermind, I locked in & beat it Sekiro is absolutely the hardest game I've ever finished. It's a VERY well made game. And I wish I could say I enjoyed it, but...I really didn't. And I'm not saying the game is bad or they should've made it differently, it's just not the type of game I enjoy.

Sekiro's FInal Boss is going pretty well (this shit is impossible)

Capt Astronaut @captastro.bsky.social · 14/07/2025

Today I beat True Corrupted Monk in Sekiro on my 2nd Try! By fighting her normally for the 1st two phases, and then using the same Fireworks cheese that I used to beat the original purple version on phase 3 I am still not good at this game, but I might actually be able to finish it...

Capt Astronaut @captastro.bsky.social · 10/06/2025

I haven't played this game over a week, but I beat Monkeyro in Sekiro on my 3rd attempt tonight! (there were previous attempts weeks ago that also failed, I am not good at this game at all lol)

Capt Astronaut @captastro.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

I know the game just came out, so it's a little early to definitively say it, but... Mario Kart World might just have the best soundtrack of any video game ever

After 20+ tries, I finally beat Genichiro Ashina in Sekiro My struggle with this game (and it's 100% a skill issue) is that you're highly incentivized to stealth kill regular enemies So then when it comes to boss fights, it feels like a completely different combat system you haven't practiced

Finished Elden Ring last night. In a game with such creative boss designs... Elden Beast stands alone as one of the WORST final bosses I've ever had the displeasure of fighting, in any video game How is it both total Dogshit AND fucking Boring? Pick a struggle bro 💀 Thank god 4 Horse Update 🐴

Fighting these last handful of bosses in Elden Ring made me realize: Modern Problems Require Modern Solutions

Was gonna complain and be like, "he's leaping all over the place, when do I even get a chance to attack?" But then I beat him on my first attempt when playing tonight 😃 (and by that I of course mean my Mimic Tear + Scarlet Rot + Bleed Damage beat him) I might actually be able to finish Elden Ring

Capt Astronaut @captastro.bsky.social · 01/02/2025
