🍃🌻 Self Growth & Care 🌻🍃 13th of #vierapril ~ “Flowers” #ffxiv | #ff14 | #gpose | #viera

Flowers has been the prompt I've struggled with the most in the first half of Vierapril ~

For someone who uses flowers within her gposes so consistently, it became this strange internal battle within myself between just "throw something together" and "I must push myself into the new". It's no secret me and mental health have not been allies in creativity in recent months. The "Flowers" prompt became a strange focus of that.

And then I hung out with a dear, dear friend last night. She made me feel comfortable, and happy, and safe, and while we were laughing about it she suggested turning Buns into the flower... And I could suddenly see this gpose in my mind. I could see the grass dancing across the bottom, Buns in a pretty dress, and her once more headless ~ though thankfully this time without the blood.

The gpose itself depicts Buns standing on a garden path in a floral summer dress. Thick grass grows long, with yellow flowers littering the lawn. She is watering a second version of herself, who is growing out of a silver, metallic bucket. This second Buns is the one who is headless, flowers growing from her neck where her head might be.

This is how my conversation with my friend made me feel, and reminded me of the importance of caring for myself. I might be warring my own mind when it comes to a healthy creative process, but every time I give myself grace or find a new way to make art which isn't unhealthy, it's growth. It's being your own garden. Your own flowers.

...My therapist is going to be so fucking proud of me ~

Track: ALEXSUCKS - Hopeless

A Viera adorned in onyx armor and a hat that tapers to a point downward can be seen with a bow barely in frame, and a quiver holstered to their back. Flecks of snow can be seen falling as bright daylight blindingly reflects off the snow in the background.

Morning dumb doodles! (Of course, it's OOC,Lior would never hurt his dragonbae's sensitive horns 😌) #mniks | #lizhar | #liorounet

A two-panel black and white digital illustration featuring two male characters from FFXIV, a Viera and an Au Ra.
In the first panel, the Viera (Lior) is looking up at the Au Ra (Khazar) with a playful expression, his hands gently cupping Khazar’s horns. He says:
"Babe! Let's take a kiss picture!"
Khazar, with a warm but slightly amused smile, leans in.
In the second panel, Lior is seen trying to push aside Khazar’s curved Au Ra horns to make room for the kiss, saying:
"Just push them aside for a sec"
Khazar now has a deadpan, exasperated expression, clearly unimpressed by the request. The moment is both affectionate and comedic, emphasizing the struggle of Au Ra horns in romantic situations

— Lepidopterology. 🦋📍 » [ #ru:morneux | #adonedits | tw: blood, injury ]

In the first panel, Dr Morneux is seen pinned to a frame like a butterfly, bleeding from his limbs as swords made from aether hold him in place. A fresh blade is seen striking him in the left shoulder, to which he lets loose a grunt of pain through gritted teeth.

The second panel shows a hand tenderly stroking the Dr Morneux's cheek, stating: "Oh, doctor, I think I'll keep you here... foever. And you /will/ learn to love me." Morne is seen bleeding from his mouth as he looks on with disdain.

The third panel shows Dr Morneux pulling his head away from the hold, suffusing his eyes with aether as it begins to glow in the dark.

In the fourth panel, blood from his wounds begin to form wisps of red aether as he sighs out, saying "...How terribly futile." It is not shown what happens next, leaving it up to the viewer's interpretation.

Maeve's shoulders live in my head rent free. (The tiny waist is a trick of perspective + pose) From the archive 2023
