The glowing ball had burst forth and revealed King Spheal, downed with a frosted red cloak and the hailed crown that marked them as the new King. And soon, the seas' tides grew calm, the storms ceased, and the land and sea found peace. All thanks to a brave, loveable Spheal.

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

A blinding light that covered the room, a rusted crown mystical appeared above the glowing growing figure of Spheal until it dropped down onto the head of the new King.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Spheal was startled when they had awoken, but in their mind was a new message. Diving back into the throne room of the castle, Spheal took the seat of the King with the Scepter in flipper, and the Mystic Water around their neck(?). Gracefully raising the Scepter and Spheal once again shined blue.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Opening their eyes, Spheal was then sat face to face with Kyogre themself. Spheal marveled at the sight of the King. Wordlessly, the legendary pokemon hovered just before Spheal and gently bumped its nose onto Spheal's thick blue fur, and it was then that Spheal's body began to glow blue.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

But the Orb has been lost since ancient times, no leads, not even a whisper, and no hope. Spheal searched far and wide but no luck. Spheal Snored with exhaustion, their little beedy eyes fluttered shut into a dream of unexpected encounters.

010

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Relicanth now fainted, Spheal seized the Scepter and was now ready for the final step: the acquisition of the Blue Orb, a Orb that glowed blue with an incredible power connected with Kyogre themselves.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

And so Spheal brought out its last trump card and used Sheer Cold, the ultimate cold blasted towards Relicanth and it was then that they felt a familiar feeling and was reminded of the Sheer Cold used by Kyogre themselves. With their last breath, acknowledged the next hier of the sea.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Alas Relicanth was a Rock Head and was not easy to convince, and only a testament in battle would prove Spheal's worth.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

And so Spheal spoke of injustice that broke apart the land above, their own family separated by the raging tides, how their goal to userp the throne was not out of ambition or greed, but out of necessity to bring peace to the ocean's once more.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

But Spheal saw this as another trial to the seat of the throne, to be acknowledged by the oldest and wisest pokemon that once swam behind Kyogre's rule.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

It asked if Spheal believe themselves to be worthy before using Ancient Power to drive Spheal back. Relicanth's disapproval was clear in their sharp tone. To Relicanth, the throne symbolized loyalty, responsibility, and wisdom that Spheal as the intruder hoped to steal for the whispers of greed.

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Hidden in the treasure room of the castle, countless Golden Nuggets and Bottle Caps littered the area, but compared to the Scepter all paled in comparison. Just as Spheal reached for the golden hilt, they were Head Smashed by a fast moving entity: Relicanth, the late Monarchy's most loyal follower.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

From the tales from their mother, Spheal knew that there were 3 rights of passage to become the next king of the ocean. The first was the Mystic Water : the Ocean's blessing, the second was the Water Stone Scepter.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Spheal was outnumbered but not weak, tactically using Double Team and precisely aimed Body Slams until both guards fainted.

000

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

But the journey did not end here, the castle may have been emptied of its leaders, but was no less guarded. Gorebyss and Huntail appeared and fought the intruder.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

After that Spheal used Dive and came back to the gates of the sunken castle. The Mystic Water glowed around Spheal's neck(?) and the gates slowly opened by a mysterious power. And so Spheal entered.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

but Lapras was moved by Spheal's sheer determination and bravery and was convince that right before them was the savior that would bring about peace. And so Spheal had received the Mystic Water from Lapras.

1100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

At first, Lapras was reluctant to give away its Mystic Water having been one of the last of its kind, and one of the last few to hold on to their precious totem.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Spheal Rolled-out to the bottom of the legendary waterfall and began its next trial. Using Waterfall like no other Spheal was capable off. At the top, Spheal was met with the sight of the Lapras waiting for their arrival.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

But a key was needed to unlock passage beyond the frozen gates. A Mystic Water was needed, a totem of the ocean's blessing. So the brave Spheal searched and searched until they heard of one of the last Laprases that remained in hiding up the peak of a waterfall that pierced the heavens.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Finally, they had arrived at the locked gates of the castle at the bottom of ocean, a great Dive that had put Spheal through experience no mere Spheal had ever journeyed past and live to tell the tale.

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Surfing across the seas, Enduring the Rain Dance that evolved into a mighty storm. A long and arduous journey to the sunken castle that once resided the ocean's Monarchy.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

It wasn't until a courageous round pokemon appeared did the ocean's might go on unchallenged. The buoyant blue sphear of hope witnessed the injustice that followed the ocean's power and decided that it would not Rest until it put an end to the fued that downpours upon the innocent.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

The disappearance of the Blue Orb drove the delicate balance of the land and sea into chaos. With the ocean's throne empty, the might of the seas were left unchecked.

100

captainmunchy @captainmunchy.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

After Kyogre, the late King of the ocean, fell into a deep slumber the tides became rampant, islands became consumed by raging waves, storms surged against the land, ships were swept away by the might of the sea sinking to the bottom never to be seem again.
