…people who demonstrate against or resist the Administration’s police powers. They are quick to demand death for those they don’t like, from Obama and Pelosi to Mike Pence.

It’s very odd for a party that claims to be pro-life to be reveling in death. It goes beyond making an execution a spectacle and includes the summary killings of boat crews assumed to be carrying something bad, as well as utter disregard for health and wellbeing of immigrants and…

I think a large part of the people wearing the Christian label are not followers of Christ. I think a large part of the remainder don’t really understand the teachings of Christ.

Don’t tell me how much you oppose Trump and MAGA if you aren’t willing to do the one thing that can actually stop them: Vote Democrat.

Trump, Critic of Voting by Mail, Urges Republicans to Do It in Midterms
It was the latest mixed messaging from President Trump, who regularly votes by mail, but has made baseless claims that the practice is “inherently corrupt.”

I think a lot of the accounts that are decrying the polling are either trying to buck up the base or don’t possess the imagination to understand that GOP is very unpopular and voters are angry. Dems may not win every tossup race (that’s why they are tossups) but it will be ugly.

David Thornton (Pilot Pundit) @captainkudzu.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Polling probably isn’t exact, but the red flags being raised are real: unpopular POTUS, unpopular war, high gas prices, inflation, slow growth, and a general sense of chaos and corruption. The surprise is that polls aren’t worse for GOP, and that’s due to heavy spending.

I’ll bet that when Chief Justice Roberts left open the idea that POTUS could shutoff trade, he probably never imagined Trump would be that stupid. I’m 💯 the original intent wasn’t to let Trump block commerce because he’s butthurt over interest rates.

From @captainkudzu.bsky.social writing @ordinarytimes.bsky.social "For most countries, the allure of imperialism went out w/World War II, if not the 19th century...Putin is the exception. Americans should be disturbed at the fact that Trump’s foreign policy is becoming more explicitly Putinesque."

If it’s lawful for Donald Trump to unilaterally knock down a third of the White House and build a ballroom with no congressional appropriation or approval, then it’s also kosher for next POTUS to knock down ballroom and build a trans amusement park/abortion clinic or whatever.

I’m no lawyer, but it seems to me that standing doctrine is complicated and inconsistent enough that it mainly serves as an excuse for the courts not to intervene.
