Although I always have enough to cover my bills my energy supplier constantly tells me I don't have enough "funds in credit" with them and that I need to increase my payments. Make them pay interest in this "deposit". I don't like giving them interest free loans. I'm sure many others don't either.

Correct. However, it is still possible for someone to pursue a prosecution. Money talks, even today. Look at the fuss over Angela Raynor. Guilty or not, it was designed to discredit her and force a resignation. You have more faith in our system than I have.😂

To stop parties in power taking out malicious prosecutions against opposition politicians to prevent them ever being in government. If a law is to be passed in this respect it will need to address violence or sexual offences and not just petty crimes.

Bishops and Archbishops have voted against: abolition of slavery, abolition of death penalty, decriminalising abortion, decriminalising gay sex, same-sex marriage. So this is just the latest in long tradition of opposition to choice and freedom. It's scandalous that they get to vote on laws at all!
