Hi, I have extremely similar issues, white fur, black leaking backing leaking after washing/drying. After fully washing and drying them I either do a second pass with a green machine just on the surface, no deep clean, or I use folex spray.

I was actually surprised by how well isolated it was this year. Last year was a lot louder. At least this idea would put Stage and FSL on different sides of the more solid middle divider.

For reference AC‘s DD is about 1.5x the size of the entire Hall H, EF‘s DD was a slightly larger than a quarter of H. So by (very rough) guesstimate AC has twice the DD floor space per attendee. It still felt busy throughout the entire con.

At least my experience from AC (which has a huge DD) is that you get 1h queues at popular booths, but that is rather the issue of that artist. lol At least my intuition is larger area == more ppl in the den == less ppl outside waiting to get in.

Hm, Both of my roomies went in the late afternoon and had little wait to pick up a badge, I also remember that reg stayed open way past the scheduled end to get ppl in. At AC they cut the line at like 5pm and told people to come back tomorrow. lol

That said, EF‘s reg team is great, in my experience they’re super quick to hand out regs and solve issues, I just hope they get additional space and support to survive next year.

I have been there at AC’25 when not all attendees could reg on the first day, and trust me ppl really get pissed when they start missing events they wanted to see or can’t hang out with their friends because they were unable to pick up the reg they paid for.

Alternatively opening up the CCH foyer for early registration on Tuesday (like in the good old Berlin days lol) should be considered to lessen onslaught on the first official day.

Art show and a larger suit lounge could share one half of hall H, with a larger arena stage in the other half. Also using a part of hall H (maybe later used for Art Show or additional Fursuit lounge rack space) for registration desks on the first day is worth considering.

Renting the entire 2nd floor space will be required I think, and with the additional space the layout has to be reshuffled again. My idea would be to move the DD into most of this space (Saal D-G + Foyer) with a dedicated queue space along H roof (or weather permitting ontop).

I think one of the biggest challenges next year will be how to manage the future growth, I expect at least 11k attendees, and wouldn’t be too surprised by 12-13k.

There needs to be a better management, maybe its own dedicated department, DD queue was literally going to the train station etc. Registration did surprisingly well imo, but probably needs more desks, ppl and space next year. If you think about staffing, go join registration!

Culminating in the biggest problem this year, Queue lines going absolutely everywhere. I think for some events it’s probably not avoidable, but for e.g. DD timeslots and virtual queueing should be considered.

Similar goes with the Arena stage, it is an incredible space and PoF/ETA are imo the two best dance events around, the room was over capacity for both, not everyone could get in.

Quite a few ppl I know never actually managed to go since the line was cut off at some point towards the evenings. While I only use it during the dances when it’s not too busy and keep my suit in my hotel room, I wasn’t affected too much, the fursuit lounge was over capacity.

Now there were some uh…issues with the sheer amount of attendees this year, but let me reiterate that I think the con handled the growth surprisingly well… The Dealers Den absolutely is too small, afaik on every single day there was a hour long queue to get in.

In the previous years the weather was always quite sunny and with how focused these iterations were on the courtyard, I was always a bit worried if the con still works in the rain, and it did so this year without issues!

Raves overall were incredible, good DJs, great setup, huge props to Stage, FOH, and the staff involved there. Also idk but they literally seemed to go forever past the actual scheduled ending, that was amazing!

really felt like a „Fantastic Furry Festival“ in this regard and absolutely lived up to this rather abstract theme imo. The Arena stage was an absolutely incredible space, the additional genre raves in CODA were a great addition, and the PHC Outside stage was very good.

The amount of shows, performances, concerts etc. this year was insane, more than any furry con I am aware of. Huge props that everything went smoothly there, even tho I don’t have the time to attend barely any of these personally, it’s incredible how much was on offer.

EF 30 improved on 29 e.g. with better sound isolation for the arena stage, even better lighting setup within arena stage and a lot more con space decoration. Also Hall H roof was a more chill hangout space in addition to the ever busy courtyard.

Compared to the last few years in Hamburg it really felt like the convention space was properly utilised and actually EF‘s. EF 27+28 had practically no large rave (one of the most important things to me) and while 29 was extremely ambitious, it did not yet work out well.
