MAXIMUM feels like the perfect evolution for Betsy. She's spent years operating in the shadows. Now Storm is putting her alongside Wolverine, Bishop, Colossus, Iceman, Firestar & Justice. An Avengers-style X-Men powerhouse with Betsy Braddock at the center? I AM SO READY 💜🦋

And then there's Storm. Ororo and Betsy have decades of history and, more importantly, DECADES of trust. They've fought through some of the X-Men's biggest wars together. Storm handpicking Betsy for this team makes perfect sense.

That clandestine streak makes her perfect for what's coming next… Betsy has spent years operating outside conventional X-Men structures, taking on missions that require discretion, adaptability and someone who can handle whatever gets thrown at her.

Betsy Braddock’s road to MAXIMUM X-MEN has been quietly building for years… During Fall of X she was operating with Dani’s X-Corp, then From the Ashes put her on Forge’s off-the-books X-Force. She’s increasingly been handling the things happening around the main X-Men story. 🧵

Did you read X-Force? Because that run made it pretty clear Betsy is still that girl. And honestly, if you want more current Betsy, write into the X-Office! They pay attention to feedback, and it’s the best way to show there’s demand for her ongoing stories.

Not exactly thrilled about this. I’ve wanted a Betsy vs. Elektra comic since I was a kid, but if Psylocke: Ninja is happening, I just hope they use it to fix some of the messy continuity.

Yes, Kwannon is a Japanese women with black hair. Betsy, in her own body was Psylocke but currently Captain Britain Prime. “Psylocke” is a codename shared by several people at this point in comics and no longer one single character.

For sure. Davis does get a couple good glamour shots in. I also do love her first arc in Captain Britain (1976) giving readers a little taste of her ferocity.
