Don't worry! Jamie Hewlett style Ash isn't real! She can't hurt you! Jamie Hewlett style Ash- #ashsflame #art #study #gorillaz #sketch

A sketch of my OC Ash sticking out her tongue in a semi/mocking manner and giving a playful/teasing expression to the viewer. Her fangs are visible as she smiles.

A sketch of my OC Ash, but in the art style Jamie Hewlett, sticking out her tongue in a semi/mocking manner and giving a playful/teasing expression to the viewer. Her fangs are visible as she smiles; however, they are more subtle due to Jamie Hewlett's semi realistic style.

Alright folks, final round. Everyone is torn between Ash having Murdoc's hair or her natural hair, but black. This final decision is up to you all. Which is best? Top (Murdoc) or bottom (normal)?

I am so tired it's not even funny. I've been loaded up with hw, have multiple responsibilities both online and irl, and several art projects to finish. Among them is what this is related to. Struggling to figure out which of these is the best look for Ash during Halloween... #art #sketchpage #sketch

Until I can get a new Halloween pfp... FOLKS, CHOOSE! Mad Mod Ash or Vampire Ash (did that one last year, but still)?

Art collab with my amazing friend @spaceraccoonz.bsky.social! We had a fantastic time on this and the final product turned out great! #gzbsky #gorillaz #murdoc #art

An artwork that I did with a friend! I handled the lineart/sketch while @spaceraccoonz.bsky.social provided the color!

Counterargument that is as equally funny to me. "She couldn't possibly be weak minde-" *the other half of the times I draw her*

Capt.Ash (in my Gorillaz Era) @captainash.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

It's so funny for me to look at Ash and say to people "Oh her? She's easily hypnotized!" while I go and draw her like this

HOLD ON, I GOT YOU HOMIE!!! Ash (first two pics) or Michael (last two) are my favorites out of all my OCs

Going out of town for 3 days (sadly it's not Gorillaz related before anyone asks lol), but take Villain Michael, my beloved. I don't care if Villain Michael is just an alternate universe version of my kindest, most loving, caring OC. I love this horrible man. We stan evil hypnotists around here 🙏

052

Capt.Ash (in my Gorillaz Era) @captainash.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Asked two friends of mine what to draw. This was supposed to be hypnosis art, but I loved it too much to change it LOL #gzbsky #gorillaz #2D #art #sketch

If I had a nickel for every time I was attracted to a fictional British man that had a name that started with M, I'd have two nickels - which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened thrice.

And here you go, have Dwight the Mechanic. Skilled with machines and semi decent with social situations, this poor soul gets stuck with Murdoc in a life pod and suffers a horrible fate. Wanted to sketch the lad and honestly? It's not too bad imo #ashsflame #sketch #gorillaz #gzbsky #subnautica #au

Capt.Ash (in my Gorillaz Era) @captainash.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I might actually be the first person to ever make fanart of this guy. Anyways this is the guy Murdoc screws over in my Subnautica AU by eating him out of house and home in the life pod. Poor guy deserved better. He isn't pretty to look at, but he is skilled with machines #sketch #gorillaz #gzbsky

This look for Murdoc has honestly really grown on me. I hated it at first, found it too obnoxious, but... it's grown on me quite a bit. I honestly love it as much as his normal look. I wish Jamie would bring it back because it slaps! #gorillaz #gzbsky #murdoc #murdocniccals ##jamiehewlett

I'm too mentally exhausted to use alt text, please forgive me. This was supposed to not be a SUPER serious comic, but instead it's turned into a vent comic lol #ashsflame #gorillaz #gzbsky #murdoc #subnautica #sketch

🎉Congrats, now you guys see what makes Murdoc and Ash separate in my Subnautica AU 🎉I love angst when it goes towards character development. #ashsflame #gorillaz #gzbsky #murdoc #subnautica #sketch

A sketch of Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz in my Subnautica AU. He screams at an offscreen Ash, "They're DEAD, Ash! Stop playing hero- NO- STOP BEING SELFISH!!!" Murdoc is visibly tense and angry. He's drawn in the fully upgraded Subnautica swimsuit.

A sketch of my OC Ash glaring down at Murdoc while he screams, "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE THINGS ALONE?!" Ash glares back coldly and states, "Like how I should have left YOU?" She is drawn in the fully upgraded Subnautica swimsuit as well.

An offscreen Ash declares, "YEAH, I SAID IT!" while Murdoc is visibly stunned. He stares up at her in silence, grimacing in complete and utter shock at her statement.

Bet you guys thought I forgot about my Subnautica AU, huh? Jokes on you! Have Murdoc snapping at Ash and what ultimately leads to their breaku- "separation" that nearly kills Ash! Capt.Ash (in my Gorillaz Era) @captainash.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

A fully rendered commission for @maxwellflinch.bsky.social of his character Maxwell having an encounter with Ash during the night. Absolutely love the final result of this piece and I'm grateful to share it with the rest of you! #ashsflame #art #comm #commission #vampire #hypnosis

An illustration of a vampire named Maxwell (left) looking down at a victim, blood dripping from his fangs, with an evil smile. His eyes glow a dark red and orange while he and Ash (right) are illuminated by the moonlight. Ash smiles helplessly, hypnotized by the vampire's gaze and is blissfully unaware of her fate. Her eyes glow a bright red and she leans back, fully taking in the sight before her.

I wish I could accurately draw Murdoc's G-Shock outfit or at least capture the vibe. Oh well... Also was way too exhausted to finish the other part of this warmup sketch. Perhaps tomorrow #sketch #gorillaz #gzbsky #murdoc

It's insane seeing how much my shape language improved. I mean look at Ash with the first time I drew her in what was the beginning of my art style (I was either 15-17 when I made it). Look how defined her features are now. It's hilarious

Capt.Ash (in my Gorillaz Era) @captainash.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Ohhhhh the parallels... (funnily enough the Murdoc one WAS intentional, the Ash one was not) #ashsflame #sketches #art

A sketch of my OC Ash presumably zonked out and drooling. A fang is visible in her mouth

An older sketch from 2022 of Ash getting zonked out

A sketch of Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz grinning down at someone

A sketch of Villain Michael from the very end of 2024 smiling down at an offscreen person with a self satisfied expression. The words "Feeling weak?.. Good." Are written to the left of him

Grunkle Stan looking down at 3 books which have been replaced by 3 different sketches I have drawn. From left to right: A sketch of my OC Ash, a sketch of an AU version of my OC Michael James, and Murdoc Niccals, all smiling or grinning at different people

Have something really, really, REALLY stupid that I just had to redraw the second I saw it. These two idiots are trying Michael's patience LOL #ashsflame #meme #yumeship #gzbsky #gorillaz #murdoc

A silly meme redraw of my OCs Ash (left) and Michael (bottom middle) with Murdoc Niccals (right) from Gorillaz. Ash has her eyes shut and her lips pursed out like she's trying to kiss someone. Murdoc is doing the exact same thing, but facing Ash while Michael's face is somewhat cut off on the bottom box. Michael seems visibly agitated and exhausted. The boxes from left to right, up to down are "Capt.Ash" "Murdoc" and "kill me now".

A silly meme of two people in love and "kissing" each other on a video call, separated only by boxes. A third person is visible down below them admiring the lovers and just enjoying them being happy. The meme is by @/criahacesium on X.

I ship all of these tbh. And yes, I'm a WildeHopps shipper, sue me. I love all of them and it was fun being an Owl House fan and seeing relationships form! Although in the OH my favorite ship is either Lumity or Raeda. Never been a big fan of K-Pop Demon Hunters so eh. Yes, I said it.

Text that reads, "Rujinu, WildeHopps, and Huntlow are all some peak ships that are also wholesome and endearing as well, that you're able to feel a lot of emotions in terms of how their chemistry is written."

Oooooh great question! I love the great white too, but hammerhead sharks and whalesharks are awesome! Goblin sharks get bonus points for being terrifying tho!

Text that reads, "Do you have any thoughts on sharks? My favorite is tied between the sand tiger and the great white."
