Happy birthday wifey. Great mum, rubbish wife. 🤣

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

Blessed week to have the truly wonderful Malcolm Garrett, one of THE graphic designers who inspired me to be a designer, come to talk to my students. (And sign my records) ❤️

My wife came through. Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Transformer. ❤️ I couldn’t resist the same for my youngest.

A beast! Local farm shop did good! £2:30. Shop local. 👌

There’s nowhere big enough other than a desk for this KO beast. Ridiculous fun.

Never had the Aerialbots as a kid. It’s taken me decades of searching to find tight, bright, complete loose Aerialbots to make a Superion. I’m nearly there, and I have one missing piece.

Facebook has reminded me that it’s been 8 years since I got my collection out of storage containers for the first time. Which, back then was probably stored in lofts for a decade at least.

A Seacon coloured Dreadwind bootleg? Yeah I’ll take that.

What did I pick up this week for less money than a pre-packed sandwich? A complete boxed Ultra Magnus. Bargains still out there. 🤩

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 12/10/2025

Little skinny bit of wall is just the right size for some sealed RID.

I think this was a gift from Xmas 1985; present from my Auntie Lesley. I was addicted to this thing. Still works, and yes, I kept the packaging. ❤️

A bit squashed, and all fallen apart a bit, but the last Transformers Ladybird Tell-a-Tale I got. 1986. Another loft discovery.

And the G2 Gobots are up too ❤️

Recent G2 attic find now up in the office. ❤️

I’ve had some fun digging in the loft.

Been a while since this t shirt has been out.

I’m so proud. She followed my instructions and transformed them all herself. No heart in mouth at all with 38 year old plastic 🫣

G1 Mass shifting. Octane turns from tanker truck to jet, to robot and back.

Because I was busy getting a tan and couldn’t go to TFNation this year, I got dealer hall fomo so bought this guy to cheer me up.

Great getting out camping in my other passion; vintage VW’s

The Autobot gumshoe. Simon Furman played this character so right. Well done that man. ❤️ the way he took the arse end of characters and elevated them to premium status was a gift to Hasbro.

Clearly took him in for a school day judging by the name on the back. 😎

A hot day is the perfect day for waxing the beast. Choices Alex, choices. 🥵mind you, satisfaction, guaranteed. Better start using it more now it’s a drought. 80s gas guzzler ☀️ not perfect, but not bad for 37.

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 31/05/2025

Sifting through some old tat I found the janky ko of Raiden. I remember early 2000s these were in loads of pound shops where I got this. He’s rubbish and fistless, but quite handsome.

Not posted in a while so saving a special one! Been in stasis for a long time. You’re dusty but not binned yet 🤭

010

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

Yes, I know it’s a KO. But I was curious for £60. It’s actually better than Destroy Monarch. 😂

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 10/01/2025

Been after a minty and complete one of these for ages. Now I have one.

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

In my opinion, one of the surprises of the 40th anniversary of The Transformers line this year. Lovingly gifted this Christmas by my lovely wife. ❤️

Captainalexis @captainalexisone.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

I’m not apologising. This KO Dinobot combiner thing is the most fun little figure I’ve got all year.
