When I was a little kid in the US, I had anxiety over a Russian nuclear attack. It kept me up at night sometimes. Later, directly after 9/11, I wondered if we might see more large acts of terrorism. Now what keeps me up at night is fear of my own government and my neighbors. I want out, but how?
