Scott Moe supports the pipeline proposal that Danielle Smith has decided to put forward, with this comment. I wonder how both Moe and Smith would feel if PM Carney came out saying that the natural resources in AB and SK are Canadian, not theirs.

Speed painted Palanite. I didn’t like the green so the next batch are blue. Not sure what to do with the other 4 - paint ‘em green? Or blue? T

Necromunda Palanite Enforcer - a heavily body armoured law enforcement officer - holding a barrel magazined sub-machine gun and a pair of handcuffs. Painted in green with yellow accents.

This is from CBC. Who takes over the dept. for education for failing to make decisions that does not support student success by increasing class sizes, mandating tech education and online courses, and failing to support students with appropriate funding.

I sincerely hope that despite the outcome of the election, Pollipoopoo loses his seat. Wouldn’t that be hilarious?! #cdnpoli

Cos everyone knows that a tough guy has to remind everyone they’re a tough guy. Also, Poilievre can’t even stand up to journalists questions. How do you imagine he’d cope with an oval office bullying like Zelenskyy was subjected to?? #cdnpoli

Today, on YouTube, I saw this ad from the Taxpayer Federation. As a taxpayer in Canada, I would LOVE for the CRA to calculate my taxes for me, just like HMRC in Britain. It’s a government function. Give me back 3 hours of my life from filling shit in on TurboTax. #cdnpoli

I took yesterday off work (much needed respite) and this was my sofa companion for most of it.

In the downtime of my printer being out of action, I’m taking some time to familiarise myself with 3D CAD in Fusion. For some practice, I made this: #3DPrinting #curling

Can someone please educate Mr. Poilievre on the finer historical points of the political left, authoritarianism, wokeism. This is asshatery of the finest order - misinformed and misjudged. This should be disqualifying. But it won’t be.

My club is holding a tournament with CurlON this weekend. I signed up to be a timer. Second shift this morning. Good times. #curling

Just FYI - plenty of firearms are still available for hunting and sport shooting in Canada. In total, a little over 1800 models have been banned (a little under 1.5% of those still currently available.) Perspective is marvellous. #cdnpoli

Then I stand corrected. This is in the Curling Canada rules of play.

I paint tiny things for fun. Today’s update: Try Again Bragg. Airbrushed undershading, more focussed light, exaggerated contrast. Not my usual style but this is looking rather good.

It’s Tuesday. I’m still on vacation (for two more days). And it’s 11am. Time for lunch.

Progress has slowed on these wee beauties basically because I downloaded Burning Shores on my PS5. Consequently, I’ve been rekindling my love for Aloy and the post Zero Dawn world.

More adventures in mini painting. This time a Hearthkyn warrior. Teal and dirty white with orangr spot colours, and reddy brown belt and base, and grey rubber boots and pads. Pretty happy with this, even it it took ages to finish.

Working in a mini for my own skills. The cloak is super quick to paint thanks to my drybrushes, and the yellow armour is mostly done using transparent paints (Vallejo Xpress Color). The armour needs another few stages before it’s done then edge highlighting.
