Not ‘trying to make’ any point. Just pointing out the fact that brexiteers relying on the terms for rejoining might be seen as prohibitive are simply highlighting the failure of Brexit. Reality is we have no idea what terms would be available. No one has ever rejoined before.

I disagree. Labour is being too timid in dealing with the legacy of the Brexit government. There should be a referendum before the next general election to take the country’s view on a closer relationship with the EU. It’s time to put reform the wrong side of democracy. It’s a fair challenge. I agree Labour have done some decent things. But Starmer is remaking Blair’s mistakes of being too timid in my view. My top priorities for the UK would be electoral reform, dealing with corporates who do not pay their fair tax bills and rejoining the EU. On those, nothing!
