Ace Combat 8 in the bag. holy fuck it was so damn good, i was locked the fuck in the whole way. I'm glad I replayed 7 right before this so I could appreciate the sheer 200% increase in production value. Project Aces put their whole ass pussy into this game. 11/10 undisputed Game Of The Year

I'll always shill Temeraire aka His Majesty's Dragon. Napoleonic wars but with sentient dragons used as an air force.

Hug your loved ones, reach out to your friends. None of us have the luxury of knowing when our number gets called, and you never know when that bye will be the last. I find myself wishing I'd done and said more, but at the end of the day I can't change the past, just gotta live in the present

I'm proud of this community of weirdos. Clearly we're doing something right, that we're this tight knit to be so deeply affected by loss. I dont really know how to end this stream of thought rambling. Just shouting into the void to get my thoughts out after a long and brutal day

1121

Capgun 🔜Heartland Howloween @capgun.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

And then we'd pick up and move along. Given the circumstances , folks were relatively cheerful between sniffles. We were still our usual weird selfs hanging out on a Saturday night wearing electronic blindfolds and presenting as various creatures. Just missing one.

It helped that it aligned with our usual meetup day. By the time I'd joined, there had been hours of eulogizing, and a hand drawn memorial wall had been made using the worlds pens. Cheery conversation would occasionally dip while someone relived a memory, and folks would give them space and time

2161

Capgun 🔜Heartland Howloween @capgun.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I drafted up an announcement. We got a memorial banner up. A thread for memories. And a channel full of community members in mourning for one of our own. In the face of tragedy our community came together strongly and i couldnt be prouder. The outpouring of support never relented

Unfortunately that scenario became reality today. That long dreaded message came through and it was all hands on deck. I'm grateful the rest of my staff was able to handle the initial moments while i collected myself. I was barely out of bed and had only just sat down with a coffee when the news hit

As someone who runs a decently sized but closely knit social VR community, I've laid in bed at night wondering how we'd handle loss for the first time. After all, it was inevitable. We're not showing any signs of slowing down, and life goes on. And it has a way of catching you off guard

I've seen so many folks playing Aniimo lately, likely who aren't aware of the GenAI use in the game. Just a PSA that Aniimo DOES indeed include GenAI in both the promotional material and in game.

Hey bud, some times the brain worms get to be too much, i get it. The things they whisper aren't true the vast majority of the time, but it can be really hard to see through it. It can be hard, but you gotta take a breath and cut through the bad thoughts. I hope it gets better for you.

17 years ago, I first discovered Flipnote Studio on the Nintendo DSi and it transformed my life. It's also half of my entire existence now since I tried it. If you just discovered me or know me for more than a decade, thank you all very much for still being here! I am there thanks to you all❤️

A photo of my Nintendo DSi with many illustrated foxes all arround it doing many things such as playing or resting.

One fox is different, there is also one baguette.

I discovered Flipnote Studio for the very first time back in the September 9th 2009.

very cool and smart to do this on ports of games that have had their source codes leaked and are only legally safe if they don't reference said source code at all. great idea to bring The Stealing Machine to that legal situation. good job guys.

Kinda wild moment when a group of women in hijabs entered the rave, danced for a bit, took selfies with a few suiters and scurried off. Just to come back later and join a conga line. But everyone seemed to be having fun so yay for positive cross cultural exchange

Dead dog dance over, which means the end of furry Migration. Trying not to cry at the end of the set and not doing well. Truly had a blast this year, vastly improved experience from last year. Big cons are fun but the more intimate feel of a small one hits different
