Re-adding info someone shared re: Vote Yes on 9 because they apparently blocked me for my opinion re: cannabis and driving. I guess it’s pick & choose whose lives are worth more in liberal politics. 🤦‍♀️ But for the record, I’m for stronger Gun Safety laws, not loosening repealing the existing ones.

So very sorry for your loss of Nibbles. She’s beautiful and a blessing to you and your family, I’m sure. May she fly high in birdie heaven with our beloved Sky who passed at 16 and was such a wonderful part of our family who alwayswanted to be with us, whether it was doing dishes or just chilling.

And those numbers are going to steeply climb. Even the State of Massachusetts sent out letters yesterday to Mass Health recipients warning they may lose coverage in January because of “Trump” written right in the letter.

Thank you. We were blessed with many wonderful years with our budgies. They were a wonderful part of our family and live in our hearts always. This post reminded me of how special animals are and how they absolutely experience grief. We can learn a lot from them.

Sky the parakeet. She was a force. Beautiful, loving, and independent. She loved her family as much as we adored her.

Our pet parakeet Sky mourned her soulmate & friend Carlos’ death for a year after his passing. She would sit in his empty cage every day. I didn’t have the heart to take it away. Then she started to become herself again, even more feisty and independent than ever. She lived until 16 years of age. 🩵

My mum’s favorite flower. She passed a year ago September at 94 on my wedding anniversary. She was quite serious about us not forgetting. 💛🥰🩵

This is so sweet! We had budgies for many years and our beloved Carlos developed a racy relationship with Santa for a time. 😆 🥰🎅
