Today I led a bipartisan letter with @meng.house.gov & @congressmanraja.bsky.social urging Trump and DHS Secretary Mullin to immediately grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to Nepal. TPS will allow Nepalis already in the U.S. to stay and work here while it's too dangerous to return home.

3 days after DHS made a racist post saying, “you don’t know how to drive Mr. Singh,” a Sikh truck driver was stabbed 17 times at a Wyoming rest stop. Hateful rhetoric has real-world consequences, and it's putting Sikh and South Asian American lives at risk.
