A long while ago, on the advice of a wise old friend, I took to saying nothing about books or any creative venture I don't enjoy. Just to be clear, though. I've just taken several boxes of books that didn't make the cut to the charity shop. I hope someone else finds joy in them.

This is good news. Frequently it's too easy to wrestle rights, services or respect away from the average worker, and once done, painful to restore. Unions slow and check that process for good reasons. They save the taxpayer and protect families.
