Nice, I wasn’t familiar with those. We didn’t land on the water when I was on it, but it is amphibious, and they do spend time on water when the conditions are good. Pre-WWII design, and that one was built in 1943. Besides seating for 8 passengers, their aim is to restore its original configuration.

Yup, I relate to this. The irony being that while I recognized a lot of the differences in how I process things going way back, it was only a year ago that I recognized them for what they were, and I only received confirmation in May. And here I just thought I had ADHD and some personality quirks.

I tear the bottom off of muffins and eat them first. I then eat the top of the muffin upside down, in part so crumbs don’t go everywhere, and because the toppings are the best part and hit my tongue first. I’ve done that as long as I can remember. 😂

D. An online search led me to DPF around 1996 or 1997. I didn’t start meeting people until the early 2000s, but it was a relief to find out I wasn’t alone in liking diapers.

Yeah, they were pretty great for a while, especially the fluffier first generation ones. I ordered a case when I heard they were being discontinued, and the quality control was pretty lacking by that point. Not quite symmetrical cut, etc. I still love them with a large stuffer though!

I highly recommend it! That one is based in Eugene, and they get it out regularly. Kinda spendy, but worth it. I built a plastic model of one when I was in elementary school, and have had a thing for them ever since. :-P
