#MSFS2020 #TheGreatAfricanFlyby #PlanOfTheDay I love the A310. It's the perfect Airbus/Boeing spawn. When I moved to msfs2020 after X-plane 11, dropping out the 737-800 after 2 years, she felt like home. But weirdly since doing more GA, it seems flying airliners is less fun.

I then tried to find a proper checklist for engine failure. Tried several times to relight, N1 would not comply, had no fire warnings, just died. Re-directed for DRRN and made it for a 09R landing. Oh. And my failures are turned off, I do not have the time to deal with those.

Now, I was in both occasions on the right tracking at the right time, but it seems I had to go waaay further North to intercept the totality, which is incorrect. Pity. I'd like to see it on my country,even simulated. I remember in 1999 when it was about 75% in my location. Fucking epic.

#PlanOfTheDay #MSFS2020 #TheGreatAfricanFlyby I'm in the middle of fucking nowhere in Mauritania from GMML as I tried the Fokker F27, on which the Fairchild FH227 was developed. Very similar, but didn't bond with her like with the FH227. Fantastic ad-on, don't get me wrong. But I'm weird.

#PlanOfTheDay #MSFS2020 #TheGreatAfricanFlyby So, the last available airfield of Cabo Verde is done, GVAN, on my little Beaver. From there I picked up a Tucano to get back to the mainland. Only heading mode works, it's a bit fiddly, but 1.44h later, I'm set to new adventures tomorrow.

#PlanOfTheDay #MSFS2020 So, I've installed the Grumman FJ2 Duck. No autopilot, only ADF, that doesn't work or I can't figure it out. A heading of 223º from LFKF - LISJ, only 107km, to a grass field invisible on my ram saving settings, but oh boy, what a lovely bird! I love sea planes!
