GGGF and GGGM were born and married in Hungary, moved to the US and had my great grandma around 1914. He didn't naturalize until 1924

Yeah, I'm trying to understand the exact requirements for ius sanguinis but it might be tough. My GGGF was a minor official in the Austria-Hungary Empire. I am interested in learning the language regardless. Grandpa on moms side moved from Ukraine to Moscow... Those records are prob impossible

Possible countries I could qualify in: Russia (Easiest to prove as my mother immigrated from there, but yikes) Israel (equally easy but would have to move there and do military service, also yikes) Hungary (or possibly Romania? The town is in Romania now) Germany (or possibly Poland? Same reason)

Trying to figure out whether I could qualify for dual citizenship. My family history is complicated and I don't have perfect records. Many ancestors were born in a country where borders have changed and the town is now in another country.

Terminating my Google Workspace subscription later today due to the continual price increases. Gods know what will happen when I do, I've done my best to migrate but there is so much interlinked with what was my primary personal email for a decade

It's official. Other than gas for my furnace, I'm no longer reliant on point-of-use combustion. (Obv the 39% of my electricity that comes from NG turbine is still burning stuff -- but way more efficiently) I have sold my last car with a gas engine. I'm officially (39.5%) nuclear powered!
