My aunt had polio as a child (befor vx), she never walked again. i was born w/Rubella (before vx), i'm profoundly hard of hearing as well as eye issues requiring surgery. Vaccines don't just save lives, they also save your quality of life. For health reasons i knew i'd not survive covid if not vx'd.

This is why i think this is a fabulous idea and platform, all good advice from actual professionals. No quackery like you see elsewhere on the net from random internet strangers (and i've seen some seriously BAD advice out there!). These are actual veterinarians giving sound advice!

BTW i find that to be a common theme, many of them know how to get to certain platforms on the net but google confuses them. This cousin isn't not only MAGA i know IRL who can't google. Can get to FB, Twitter or IG because they're apps on their phones, just push a button but google confuses them.

Naw i have a cousin, few years younger than me, die hard maga, 45s first term i was arguing w/this cousin re: some stupid thing (was the umpteenth argument w/him) exasperated i told him to "google it!" and he responded with "i don't know how". He knew how to get to Facebook, but not how to google.

It sounds like an amazing tool. There is a need for it, i've seen people ask random vet related questions on places like Facebook & get atrocious advice from non-pros, it'd be nice to have an app or website full of pros to send people to where i know they'll get good and actual *veterinary* advice.

So i'm stuck trying to get them through their OTC provider. Which i do not see being successful for me at all. I'm glad i just bought a pair and should be ok for the next 5 years but i hate that their response to states trying to make sure we got that coverage, was to slash the quality of care. 3/3

OTCs don't work well for those of us w/profound loss. Also if you're no where near an office of this 1 provider your only option is a freakin video call. Like how do you do a test? Or know i don't have wax in my ear? Worse the HA's are locked so i can ONLY get them adjusted through that 1 co. 2/3

i wish most would get upset about BC/BS' new hearing aid "coverage". Couple states (WA & CA) just passed laws that say ins. need to cover at least 2.5k per ear of hearing aids (my current pair cost 5100 btw). Well they just privatized all HAs by going to only 1 provider w/basically OTC HAs. 1/?
