Citizenship shouldn’t come with an asterisk because your parents were born elsewhere. Britain already has powers to strip citizenship in serious cases — dressing up more deprivation as a new “tough” pledge risks creating two classes of Britons. Equal rights should mean exactly that. 🇬🇧
