If she hits "now" & we can't play right away, we'll hit "play later" & she stops bothering us. And every time I give them treats I hit "snacks now" & both cats come running, so they definitely understand what that means. Evie just isn't food motivated & never wants anything later 🤣

Update on talking cat: Evie used the "help" button for the first time today. I was confused because until now, every button push has been a variation on "play." But she wanted me to open the window for her! She actually did need help! So proud of her for using her words 😻

I'm watching Legends of the Hidden Temple, and I feel so bad for the kids who lose. Their little faces are so disappointed! Then they're like "you're not going away empty handed, you get a gift!" And it's like, a box of nerds or a yoyo 🤣😭 Watching this as an adult just hits different 🤣

There have been 6 water main breaks since Jan. 31 in NOLA, and 12 boil water advisories this year so far. When I tell people that the infrastructure in NOLA is so much worse than Cleveland, some think I exaggerate. I don't lol

Watching The Golden Palace (sequel to Golden Girls), & the episode where Blanche learns about racism & the symbolism of the Confederate flag is still super relevant. Golden Girls has been pretty progressive for a late 80s/early 90s show (although it definitely has its "not funny anymore" moments).

It's truly wild to see so many people speaking out about ICE while staying silent about Palestine, or refusing to believe that Palestine is occupied. If you hate what ICE is doing here in the U.S., you should also hate what Israel is doing to Palestine.
