We spent the last half of the lesson out on the actual road, despite him saying at the start that he usually spend the first 2-3 lessons only on the training course. So I think it went good.

On my way to my first driving lesson, and I feel so nervous. Hopefully it goes well.

This weekend I’ve been doing this “hand study class” thing to get better at drawing hands. And I feel like I’m making no progress on it.

Brown Cheese Ice cream anyone?

Does anyone have any tips on actually finishing drawings and not just reaching a point where you go “I’m not feeling it anymore” and scraping it

341

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

In my defence most of them are to be had with cheese

110

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Strawberry, blackberries, raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, cranberry, apple, apricots, oranges, red berries mix, lingonberry and cloudberry.

Emptying out my broken fridge I’m faced with the realisation that I apparently really love Jam… Because I have 12 different types in my fridge…

I’m NOT sitting in a booster seat!

He’s nearly 7 foot tall so he has it tilted upwards, but I’m only 5’5” so I have to tilt it downwards. But he thought the screen just kept drooping down and was trying to fix it.

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 12/05/2026

Had to have a conversation with my boss about how the monitor stand isn’t broken and dropping. I’m just so short that I have to tilt it downwards so I can look at it.

If your friends get turned into mice it’s 100% okay to just eat them. Mice are food, after all.

What service do you guys recommend to listen to audio books?

I can’t grab that with my fist though

Why do himbos keep shaving their chest hair? Like hello? I need something to grab hold on so I can pull you down and kiss you.

Got a pen display, and it may be a combination of my hand cramping up still and that I haven’t really done anything in 4 months. But it feels different than drawing on the iPad. CSP definitely takes some time getting used to. And I miss the auto curve feature

Nidoran is super cute. It looks like it would be a good pet indeed.

I think I’d have a Dachsbun though. Because I’ve had Dachshunds my entire life, I was raised by a baker/chef and I’m a chef focused on Sandwiches. Its national dex number is also my birthday, and it’s a fairy type… What would you have and why?

220

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I’m not talking your favourite, but given your life situation what would you likely have as a pet? Like my favourite is Aggron, but I can’t keep that in my flat… and would you evolve your Growlithe? Do you have space and the energy to train that with work/school and other obligations?

I’ve been playing a lot of Pokémon with the rerelease of Fire Red/Leaf Green, and Pokopia. Since they’re games I can play using mostly one hand on the controller. And it made me remember the old question of which Pokémon would you realistically have?

240

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Yeah. It’s a 13” pen display. I’ve seen some reviews, and it’s mixed. Would rather hear from the community about it tbh.

000

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Any reviews of the Huion Kamvas 13? Once my hand heals properly I want to move away from the iPad and up to the PC. But I struggle with the Wacom Intuos since it doesn’t have a screen. I don’t like that I have to look away from the pen to see where I’m drawing.

He stops by every couple of weeks. Always have. Plays a jingle and everything. But I was talking to an online friend about getting some fish from it, and he was very confused

Is having a fish van, the same as an ice cream van that drives around and sells fish not a thing anywhere else?

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 26/01/2026

I’m thinking something like this for the colours for the boar… It’s mostly the same as for me. Also I’m considering the name Svein since it sounds similar to swine…

Hand is still cramping a lot, but at least I can do some stuff now that my hand is free again.

Anyone who doesn’t know what I’m talking about are free to come over and rub lotion all over me to see for yourself

170

Cam @camsnack.bsky.social · 19/01/2026

Anyone with a lot of body har knows that lotions are awful. But when it’s winter and your skin dries out so you have to switch to a thick fatty lotion it’s extra bad. You’re just pulling on all of it trying to rub it into your skin.

Slipped on the ice when my dog yanked the leash. Got a sprain in my wrist. Got told to wear it for two weeks.

Tried to finish up some drawings today, but with my hand still in a brace it just cramped up immediately. Gotta wait until I get it off next week…

Also complete side note from my previous post, but I’m running out of poses that I like on VRM posing on steam, which I use for reference. Do anyone have any good recommendations for where to go to for a good catalog of reference poses I can use?
