Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Today is the first day since I was 3 that I haven’t been a student, a teacher, a homeschool mom (or on maternity leave). The first day of school hits differently when I’m on this side of things! 000

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 20/06/2026We've camped all over the U.S., but one of our favorite places to camp is at Oconee State Park near Walhalla, South Carolina. There are over a hundred sites for RV/tent camping. The property has a lake, trails, paddleboats, swimming area, a playground & even line dancing in the summer! #camping 130
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 19/06/2026This week's kid-friendly trail takes us to Victor, CO, where you can go on a troll hunt for the Rita the Rock Planter sculpture. The easy 0.5 mile trail leads to the recycled art piece by Thomas Dambo. Have you seen any of the Dambo trolls? If so, which one? #familytravel #hiking 020

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 18/06/2026A2 We love a good summer road trip with our kids! We take longer ones each summer with the longest being 8 weeks from SC to CO, UT, ID, MT, and SD. We just got back from a 2 week road trip through central CA to see 4 more national parks! #parkchat #roadtrip 140
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 18/06/2026I’m currently in that post-adventure state where I’m reeling from the beauty of the places we saw + the incredible family time we had, but also sad that it’s all over and itching to start planning another trip. It’s a complicated emotion. (Picture at Pinnacles NP, CA) #parkchat #nationalparks 081
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026That is incredible! We've only done Grand Canyon once, but I'd love to go back! #parkchat 040

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Yes! There is something so special about those quiet moments on the trail and in the NPs that we just haven't been able to duplicate anywhere else on our travels. #parkchat 010

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Hahaha I cannot imagine what Death Valley would be like in the summer! My 9 year old is obsessed with world records, so he wants to go when it is really, really hot to see the temps, but I think we can probably just read about that and go a different time. #parkchat 140
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Q12: Finally, if you were convincing a friend or your family members to try a spring national park trip instead of a traditional beach retreat, what would your pitch be? #parkchat 351
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Q11: Have you ever visited the same national park in spring and another season? What felt completely different between the two visits? #parkchat 452
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Thank you! My husband's been asking to go to Nebraska for years (I have no idea why, but he must be onto something!). Time to actually plan that trip, I think! #parkchat 260
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026We love spotting a cute turtle or two on our travels! We don't have the best luck with wildlife spotting, so we tend to get overexcited about seeing anything. 😂 #parkchat 060
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Looks like I need to plan another trip now! If I'd known what was off of the interstate, I wouldn't have blasted through Nebraska! #parkchat 140
Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Those are both gorgeous! We've driven parts of the BRP, but I don't recall ever going in the spring. Definitely need to change that! #parkchat 140

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026I kind of asked this question for selfish reasons as I want to take my kids to an NP or two for next spring break! 😂 #parkchat 140

Natalie @campingkiddos.bsky.social · 05/03/2026I was blown away by how incredible New Mexico was. Adding the Pecos Wilderness to our next visit! #parkchat 070
