Say what you will about the overall quality of the latest Miraculous season but you all can sleep peacefully knowing your show hasn’t fallen off nearly as hard as Winx Club has

It also aired during a programming block dedicated to the election (it was a bunch of election/competition themed episodes, one of which was a rerun of an old episode lol). Funnily enough earlier that day was part one of the Dino Charge finale.

Way too dehydrated to record a video despite my best efforts (audio quality was horrendous) but it’s such a stupid episode that I honestly have to give it its flowers for having the gall to do that. Them using chip flavors as a metaphor for policy makers is maybe not the best call.

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 02/08/2026

Thinking about a hilariously tone deaf Henry Danger episode where the gang argue over a bag of chips that is not so subtly commentary on the 2016 US election For Pete’s sake they even pull a “we can disagree and still be friends”, lol.

The titular Henry Danger is holding a blue can of chips and his stupid comic relief friend is holding a red bag of chips. This is commentary on Republican vs Democratic candidates, I’m not joking but I wish I was.

Banned the site in my state unless I gave my ID. Thought it was going to be like that forever so I’m surprised they reversed it.

Didn’t think a website would actually REVERSE a stupid decision but I’m glad they did. Don’t give out your personal info online!

I always found this tweet funny because THIS is the character that tweet is talking about.

Image of Toni Topaz from Riverdale with the caption “this is the butchest girl Twitter can handle before they start getting scared”. It should be noted this iteration of Toni Topaz is a lot more femme presenting than her comic counterpart.

She once asked me where she could watch the Equestria Girls movies, so she’s at least watching things made for her age.

020

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 26/06/2026

Every now and then my 11 year old cousin updates me on what she’s watching, and as the older one I should express some level of concern that she’s well versed on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure lore. Then I remember I was watching Food Wars, Kill la Kill, and PSG at her age and realized it could be worse.

Not going to lie, it is a surreal experience seeing a trailer for what will soon be the MCU in a copy of Beowulf of all things, lol. Remnants of a different time

In terms of sportsball teams and their names “Vegas Golden Knights” is pretty tuff but nothing is quite as hilariously awesome as *ORLANDO STORM*

“I know what really happened to him, but you’re not going to like it.” The alleged descendant declined to elaborate further on his claim.

000

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 21/05/2026

The lavish tomb proves contradictory to this theory of an undignified assasination. Historians believe that he was never sultan at all, perhaps a priest. Someone who claims to be a direct descendant of Gizem chimed in on the discourse surrounding this man’s vague and unclear existence.

110

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 21/05/2026

Mainstream history states that his subjects grew so frustrated with him that they eventually staged a coup, resulting in his assassination. When the next Sultan, Gizem’s brother, inherited the throne, he demanded any proof of Gizem’s existence be swiftly erased.

100

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 21/05/2026

When asked why Georgia were to be invaded in the first place, Gizem believed the Georgian prince was involved in a nefarious and problematic scheme. When asked to elaborate, the sultan failed to do so.

100

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 21/05/2026

Aside from his insistence on solely bright green robes, he was known to be rather cryptic with his speech, often being vague and confusing. This proved rather unhelpful during the Ottoman Empire’s invasion of Western Georgia.

110

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 21/05/2026

Two months ago, in what is now Kartsahki, Georgia, an unmarked grave was discovered, as well as a rather lavish tomb buried deep underground. The grave is believed to be that of Sultan Gizem. He reigned within the Ottoman Empire for a short while.

Don’t use Bluesky much, so unfortunate update: Was let go pretty quickly before orientation because the distance was going to be a problem. Not too happy about it but nothing else but to keep looking I suppose. In the meanwhile, if you need a quick job done, my Ko-Fi’s open, lol.

That being said, I realize it’s for branding’s sake, but Miraculous’s power system is bonkers, lol. Weirdly enough the latest season seems to have rectified the whole “why do you need all these heroes if you can just unify” thing.

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 08/05/2026

Discord saw that I was about to write a full length essay on Miraculous Ladybug’s power system to my unwitting test subject—I mean friend, and decided to shut down. Maybe this was deserved.

I remember watching a few clips of this show a few years back and going “I remembered this looking better as a kid”, only to find out that they literally swapped art styles midway through the show. Different art style also brings out a different vibe to the show.

010

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 24/04/2026

If I had a dime for every cartoon that switched from a typical “Western” art style to a more “anime-esque” art style by the turn of the second season I’d probably only have two dimes but it’s weird I‘ve witnessed this happen twice.

Saw it opening day but didn’t give my two cents Yeaaaah the plot was pretty messy and it was pretty much a gigantic ad for Nintendo stuff. Shafted Rosa. I had my fun with it, but if you actually like movies you probably won’t like this one. I can see why critics were pretty volatile with this one.

Once you‘ve been forced to watch endless 9-1-1 Nashville episode with your parents, I think you’re allowed to enjoy one silly thing

020

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 01/04/2026

I’m expecting a perfectly average and serviceable Mario movie today, but I was pleasantly surprised by the first one so who knows! If it’s good, it’s good. If it’s bad, it’ll at least be a fun bad. I’ve watched enough “high art“ to where I feel I’m allowed to enjoy at least one ”slop” movie.

120

Camira @camira.ispost.ing · 31/03/2026

Contrary to popular belief I don’t mind that the humans in Equestria Girls don’t have normal skin tones since the ponies in the show don’t have that either, so I made both.
