Kingdon submitted her report 8 months ago but has not had a response from NHS England. She was due to brief the board but this was cancelled she says. "We don’t even know for certain how many children have been missed or failed by the system." 2/3

The Sunday Times has led the way on reporting this scandal and I remain shocked at how this was allowed to happen. These children face lifelong difficulties through no fault of their own. For background one of our first stories here: www.thetimes.com/article/26df...

Bullying & harassment costs NHS £2 billion annually. Shocking but sadly unsurprising. The hesitation to call out racism, compared to sexism, shows the urgent need for antiracism & compassionate leadership as it saves costs & lives #NHS #AntiRacism #CompassionateLeadership #Bullying #Harassment

By way of introductions I'm Jess I was a paediatrician when burnout & mental illness happened. In 2019 I left medicine & retrained as a primary teacher. But I missed being a dr. I now work non-clinically in the medical wellbeing space. Life isn't linear! Careers don't have to be either. #MedSky
