iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Stayed up later than I should have playing Control, finally went to bed, decided to check out the game's subreddit to see what people were saying, but this popped up first.

I saw this one once that was especially insane to me. Big bed, paintings, side tables, and a ceiling fan all on that incredible slanted ceiling in this tiny room.

On the flip side though, if it were more like that puppet with bigger pupils and irises, I think it wouldn't hit that uncanny valley thing for me so much

You can tell I’m excited for a game when it gets the custom intro treatment

I'm no longer working on the big annual KF recap video, so this won't be used anymore, but back in January when the Rog & Mike Skyrim marathon stream was announced I thought I could get ahead by working on the music for that section of the eventual edit.

Some of these promotional tie ins are wild

I'm not the biggest Wolverine guy, so it's not for me, but this is one of their cooler covers. I just like yellow and black together, and the see-through parts are neat.

My expectations for this video is that it will damage Adobe enough that I will be paying less for Creative Cloud later this year.

I shouldn't be working. I should be home hanging out with him.

Got my NTBTS photobook. Kind of a wild inclusion of a certain ex Polygon employee in there.

I believe this means it will only have taken 834 days to go from starting to update the colours in the Gamescast intro to them actually showing up

I've been meaning to sell my Series X for about a year, and every day I wait it gets easier. I'm even gonna mention GTA6 in the listing.

If I could feel emotions playing a game that looked like this, we can do it

Remember, GTA Online was only announced a month before GTAV came out, they never talked about it as being the online mode for V, and they presented it as buying V would entitle you to Online as well despite not being sold separately for another 9 years. blog.playstation.com/2013/08/15/g...

Sony says PlayStation 4 is where the greatest play.

Some of the stores being exclusive to the ultimate edition feels a bit icky, but more in a slippery slope way. Like I'm more bothered by it in theory cause these games have so much already, but if any other game did this I'd be like what the fuck.

My PS5 with disc drive I bought in 2020, $630 CAD pre tax. SSD I bought for it 3 years ago, $190 CAD pre tax. That would now cost me $1570 CAD pre tax.
